P.S. - Women have 50 guys on tap ready to date them at any given point in the day. That is why women walk away from perfectly good relationships and screw over nice guys. They can walk away and they KNOW they will get another dude immediately in the near future and they are willing to take the gamble on it being 'better'. Relationships are a woman's turf and so they play it by their rules. Yeah it sucks. Screw the whole process. Yeah I'm bitter... you would be too if you were me. So all you haters, go ahead and flame me... I don't give a damn.

i honestly don't know which women you are referring to but this has not been my experience at all. i recently deleted my accounts on the dating websites i had been on because of the same reasons you outlined above.

most of them men i came across seemed interested and then dropped off the face of the earth presumably because they found someone else they felt was a better match or because i was one of many. i get it - - it's called exercising your options. men are just as entitled to do it as women.

that being said i have been in relationships where i have accommodate men - - understanding that they have a lot going on in their lives, be it work, kids etc. so i backed off, didn't call or text as much - - but still let them know i was there if there needed support. and wound up getting dumped anyway.

maybe the exceptionally beautiful or extroverted women are the ones who have 50 other guys lined. but i'm not that kind of girl. i'm very introverted i don't don't stand out. and whenever i find a guy i am interested in - - he's the one who has 50 other prospects lined up. an no - - i don't go for the a**holes. i go for the nice guys. they're just not always consistent most of the time... no one is.

What you maybe did wrong in your past relationship is the fact that you faded out for your girl.

You got too comfortable and didn't take too much initiative.

Normally, you should have kept your ground and be more assertive.

Of course it's good that you tried to please your girl, but sometimes a girl needs a little boundary and you should give her that.

A little fire to keep the relationship burning.

It's a good experience, learn from it.

But don't generalise and say that all good girls go after bad guys, because that's not the case.

Intelligent girls know that bad guys aren't good for them in the long run.

Contratry to popular believe, "conquering" a woman is really hard work. Every piece of the puzzle has to fit, or she won't go for you. We have to spread our options, just in case one or more of them brush you off.

On the other hand, conquering a guy is not difficult at all! You just have to be there and show some interest. If he thinks you're just a bit cute, the slightest amount of interest will have him in your orbit in no time.

im sorry..but as hard as it is for you to admit it...you and the rest of the female species are and forever will be attracted to dickheads...you'l keep getting treated badly and blaming it on all men in general when really its because you fail to see the nice guy stood right beside you treating you well and looking after you. you have him anytime you want and because of that you dont want him....you want the guy who doesnt respect you because hes a challenge. doesnt matter weather i was her first or 50th...i was with her for close to a year and i never changed my attitude towards her once...infact i liked her more after 10 months than i did at the start and always let her know.

she ran a mile to another guy,,,probably one who doesnt pay her as much attention...she was the one who lured me in thinking she was different....not the other way round...and she proved to be the same as the rest

You can't make an argument based on generalization. You're just coming off jaded because YOU made the mistake of choosing ONE WOMAN that unfortunately treated you badly. You claim women make the mistake of going for jerks, you made the mistake of going after a woman that treated you like a doormat, because you chose to be a doormat. How does that make you any different? You're part of the madness. At the end of the day, it's not about who's chasing whom and why, it's about the choices you make for yourself.

Blame the world for your misfortune but we all stumble upon a few bad apples in our lifetime. Maybe you should restructure your selection process and maybe then you will stumble upon a woman that will be able to reciprocate your kindness and loving nature. And maybe then you will realize that categorizing is stifling, no different than locking yourself in a little box while waving your fist at the world. There are good women out there, just like there are good men out there.

permanently of just as far as sex in concerned? that's the challenge right there. yes - - i can get sex very easily under the conditions you outlined above.

but that's not all i want. and it's pretty easy for a guy to ignore a girl after the deed is done: whether it's that same night or weeks, months from the time they meet. getting the guy isn't the problem - - it's getting him to stick around that is...

You can wrap any guy around your finger without having sex with them. In fact, nice guys are most likely to stick around if they have to work for it. Nice guys will prefer a girl who doesn't sleep around over a slut to be in a relationship with. It's the bad guys (the ones that can get laid whenever, wherever end with whomever) which decide to leave, because it's too much of a hassle. So either you're attracted to the bad guys and aren't willing to admit it or you just haven't learned the proper seduction skills yet.

i guess it's the latter. most of the time then i get ditched i'm told by friends it's because i didn't put out soon enough. and i usually get dumped after two to three dates!

there is a high ratio of women to men where i live - - 10 women to every man. so i guess there are plenty of other women out there who are willing to beat me to it - - if you'll pardon the pun...

I don't know where you're from, but I don't think you should lower your standards just to get a guy. Teasing them a bit and letting them know playfully that they will have to work to get it, but that it will be worth every second of it can work wonders sometimes.

Obviously, there is also the possibility that all the good guys have simply become bad guys because they don't have to work for it. If there is much choice, they might take the easy way out. How to solve the problem: Sent some of the girls in the age category of 25 - 35 in my direction. ;)

oh i'm not. but sticking to those standards can get lonely and frustrating. i've teased guys. but they usually give up and go elsewhere anyway.

i do think it's true that a lot of the good guys in my area (washington d.c.) have become bad guys for the reason that they don't have to work for it. when you have that many options why settle?

i suppose i could move. but the job economy here is better. so that would trump my dating life...

Girls like jerks? So what?

I am a good guy, but I remember alot of times I was a jerk and mean in my relationship.

Basically you do your part - if the girl leaves the girl leaves so what.

These jerk ho bag relationships is something I persoanlly don't need in my life.

I could care less. What I'm looking for is a respectable relationship. I don't chase girls anymore.

If I need my sexual fix - I'll hit up a strip club haha same exact thing as dating a disrespectful girl - love on the other hand is different - and alot of people in relationships don't have that.

That's the rare part.

Dude, Nice guys win in the end, true that the women you want might have a few kids or even added a few hundred pounds, but that's how it works.

Its like leased cars, the first person that leases it (jerk) gets it while its new and still has value.

And the good guy gets it after it has been sold to the used car shop, old, damaged, not the same.
