Sara12345 Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Hi there, So I met this cute guy a few weeks ago...he is 28, I'm 18. He gave me his number so I texted him a few days later. We then texted everyday for two weeks ( he was always the one to initiate theses texts ). He came to my town because he was passing through ( he lives half an hour away ) and we met up. It was only for a little bit but I think it went well...he texted me soon after saying he was so glad he got to see me. Right after, I told my sister I'd been talking to this guy and she freaked out because we aren't of the same religion ( and this is a big thing in my family ), so I texted him and said he was a great guy but I couldn't text him anymore because of that. He replied and was like, "alright, you know where to find me if you change your mind". Anyways, it's been four days and he hasnt texted or anything which I kind of thought he would, because I wasn't super super firm in saying I couldn't talk anymore. During the time we texted, I sent pictures and he said I was gorgeous and that "he was afraid he was kind of fond of me;)" I was deciding wether or not to continue talking during those two weeks ( I decided to continue ) and he was like, "I wouldn't force a relationship if the girl wasn't feeling it and I know my self worth..." Anyways I just thought that, even though he said that, he might at least once try to change my mind?? Do you think he liked me? Is he an *******? What do you guys think?! I've been thinking about this all the time and I'm sick of it! I don't want to text him because I am not the one to come running back and be all like, I want to talk again, he' ll think I'm so fickle...Am I way over thinking this? I'm sorry to write such a long post, but I really appreciate you guys reading this! I guess in my telling him we could no longer talk, I kind of wanted him to object and say like oh we can work around this...please give me your honest opinions. Thanks so much!

Please don't buy into things like "you are gorgeous, I'm falling for you" etc over text. It means nothing. You told him you couldn't continue and he didn't attempt contact because he doesn't care and he probably has a slew of other teens he is running the same game on What kind of pictures did you send to him?

Because a LOT of 18 yr old girls are in good shape because they are so young...and he's probably got them in his web as well, they're a dime a dozen to him....

He is Christian and really into his beliefs so he doesn't seem to be a bad guy...or am I just naive? The pictures I sent were face shots.

Do you think you like him? You think you are very beautiful and want others to approach you... Sorry to say but you did the things wrong, so you have to repair.....
