neem Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 I've been chatting with this girl for a while, I've known her since I was a kid. Long story short, lots of chatting until she finally came over to hang out....she seemed very interested, smiled a lot, etc. Fast forward to last week, I hung out with one of her close friends and when we were out some girls came up to us and started chatting asking for our numbers. After they left, I told him I'm really selective and only date women that I'd potentially have a kid with or some prospect of a serious future together. What are the chances that he told her this and it scared her away? She texted me a few days later after I asked her out and said shes been talking to her ex and doesn't want to waste my time or lead me on and that its just bad timing. Would women turn away from a guy they really like because of this?
NateC Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 It could just be she wasn't really seeking a long-term relationship. It happens...especially if you haven't known her that long.
