My bro, his GF and I watched TAKE ME HOME TONIGHT earlier, er, tonight, lol. It was my 2nd viewing of it. I know not everyone loves it, but that film speaks so much to my spirit I'm going to HIGHLY recommend it to others in the chance it might resonate with someone else here. I just love the music, the acting's not shabby, the girl's HOT, and oh... classic story of geeky guy with crush on hottest girl but was too chicken to make a move. Also, he has a ton of potential, but is wasting time working at Suncoast (total flashback!). My favorite quotes from the film: 1. "You're chasing a girl you'll never get with. You know it. There's really no risk. At least I'm making some decisions. You're too scared to do anything with your life" 2. "Son, you're not a failure. You're worse. You haven't even tried." 3. "Dad, I dunno what to shoot." "Anywhere. Everywhere. Just take wild shots. If nothing else to hear the gun go off" The film really hit me in my spirit. It's also got some pretty cool, atmospheric cinematic shots. I also love how the movie's set in the mid '80s. If any of this sounds like it might interest you, check it out! I know many of us guys can relate to Matt Franklin... Any other suggestions? Post 'em here!

Watts: "You're jerking off the impossible." [the impossible being Amanda Jones) Keith: "Nothing ventured, nothing gained." Watts: "Once a fool, always a fool.." Also, I did notice today that FATAL ATTRACTION is streaming on Netflix. Also from 1987. Alex: "Where's your wife? Dan: "My wife's in the country visiting her parents." Alex: "And you're here with a strange girl being a naughty boy." Dan: "I don't think it's a crime to have dinner with someone..." Alex: "Not yet...." Dan: "Will it be?" Alex: "I don't know. Haven't decided yet..."
SmileFace Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 I like to watch movies that I can discuss while watching it. Something with a little suspense or a common interest. The last three movies I watched on a date -Law Abiding Citizen -Case 39 -Hackers I am not into watching romance on dates. I want to actually watch the movie and like to put some thing on that will keep both of our attention.
