Hey all,

I've started becoming closer and closer to a girl from work that I met about 2 months ago. She would always say that we need to go to the bar, and we finally did (with a group of friends). Of course, we all got pretty drunk so I was dancing with her and then, long story short, after the two of us hobbling back to her apartment, she pretty much attacks me and we start making out.

She says she isn't looking for a serious relationship because they're often full of drama, but she's already spoken to her friends and parents about me and how funny I am and how cool I am, etc.

Sadly, I think the reason we made out is because we were drinking, but what about the other things?? She keeps talking about how it's refreshing to hang out with someone that can make her laugh/has the same sense of humor as her.

She's sending a lot of mixed signals:

Signs that I think she's interested (or at least somewhat attracted)

  • Very comfortable with me
  • Talks to her friends and parents about me
  • Made a move on me with no real instigation

Signs that say we're just friends

  • Pretty casual about the fact that we did hook up
  • She doesn't like relationships because they're full of drama
  • She does have a history of making out with guys when drunk

I want to ask her directly, but I don't want scare her away. It's clear she thinks very highly of me, and she said she didn't regret making out with me, but it also seems like she's not looking for a relationship. Should I let things keep progressing and see what happens? She wants to continue going to bars with me and others. Or do I risk potentially scaring her away by making a move?

Sounds like you have two options:

1. Ask and find out

2. Let it die and move on

The question is, which one do you want? Only you can answer that.

I'd like to find out, I just don't want to ask too soon or too late and blow it.
