Nohbody Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Ok. So the person I was with is making fake facebook accounts and is trying to contact me. I am assuming things did not go quite as planned with the guy she left me for over a year ago. I unblocked her from facebook long enough to tell her on no uncertain account that I don't want her communicating with me, and a few days later (after reblocking her) she tries to send me a message from another dummy account. I got as far as "Ha ha, I tricked you" before I deleted it. What should I be doing differently? I don't want this person back in my life. Thanks guys and gals. 1

If you have to, remove your account and start a new one or best yet, change your settings. Block these dummy accounts=you can block her by putting in her email address, too. Just don't respond to this nonsense.
Mr Scorpio Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 How necessary is facebook? I left it once my ex started posting to my wall post-breakup. Haven't been back since October of 2010.
radiodarcy Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 How necessary is facebook? I left it once my ex started posting to my wall post-breakup. Haven't been back since October of 2010. agreed. if you don't need it. maybe you can either temporarily disable it or just stop logging in for awhile. you can block the dummy accounts. but she'll probably just create more. but i agree with BewitchedandBothered - just ignore her. sooner or later she'll stop once she sees it's not getting her anywhere.
silvermane187 Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 You can set your privacy settings so only people on your friends list can send you messages. Problem solved. 1
