Is she still interested

This girl broke up with me through a text and I don't know what has happened I know I haven't done anything to hurt her and she tells me this

 

" I don't really know how to start this but if your phone was where I could call you I would have done it that way but I think we should just be friends. You are so cute and you're such a sweet guy but I feel like we are strangers and maybe we should try to know each other better before we go out and stuff. I hope that's okay, and it's nothing you did..I just think it's so awkward and stuff and it'd be better if we were friends for a while first. I hope you understand..... "

 

Can anybody tell me if she's still interested or what she's trying to tell me because I don't buy her " I feel like we are strangers" story.

 

I plan to confront her tomorrow about this.

I responded with this: "I really want to be together Madison but if your unhappy then I wouldn't want you to have to go through it."

 

Then she said: " I know and I think you're such a good guy and you'd treat me better than anyone, I'm sure of it. I just think it's too soon and stuff, and thank you for considering me being happy and stuff. That means a lot...so let's just be friends for now and see how it goes from there...I don't want you to be unhappy either but I think it's for the best."

Personally i'd move on. Not even worth wasting the time on that. Find someone that isn't going to play wishy washy games with you via text messages! The text doesn't even deserve a reply.

 

Hate to say this mate, but she's not into you. Let it go. Have a cold one and then flush her number down the toilet and then go out and find another Sheila.

It's possible that your feelings got ahead of hers and she wants to slow it down. You could remain in friendly contact and see what happens. Or, you could find someone that is a bit more definite about what they want.
