MarkV Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 On Sunday night I bumped into my ex in a bar. We were together for nearly 6 years and she ended it on news year eve. When she saw me she looked suprised and happy and threw her arms around me and started to cry. She then asked if I remembered what day it was and I replied saying 'yes it would have been our 6 year anniversary which she then cied some more. She then told me that she had refected a lot in the past three months but didnt say what about. What confused me even more was when she said 'maybe I can see the spare room at the house (that iv converted into a proper guest room) and maybe one day we can go for a walk on the beach'. I didnt reply. When I left she once again threw her arms around me and wouldnt let go. I could feel her crying and she said that it has been so hard not contacting me and that we should agree to not ignore each other. I dont intend to contact her as iv just left her to it as she left me and a good life (no cheating, abuse etc but she has just turned 25 and told me when she left that she was so confused) I left the bar but didnt feel too bad as although I still love her I cant forget how tough the last three months have been for me. What do you guys believe is going on? Please dont think that I want her back because at the moment I dont after what iv been through..just need to keep going I guess
Mr Scorpio Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 I'm assuming that you haven't been contacting her since the breakup. It sounds like absence has made the heart grow fonder. Her emotion, combined with the liquor, got the better of her. Twice.
Author MarkV Posted April 11, 2012 Author Posted April 11, 2012 I havent been contacting her,i didnt even want to bump into her. Im guessing she is not fully over it at all,its funny how she is hurting more even though I was the one who was dumped!
