I broke up with my girlfriend of a year a couple of weeks ago.

I just didnt want the relationship anymore. I still love her. I still care about her, hell .. I was still happy with her. But about a week or two before we broke up, I felt like I was getting tired.

She misses me a lot, I know this. And I have hurt her very bad. I hate seeing what I'm doing to her. I know that if I go back to her, I'll be happy with her. For how long, I dont know. We were together for a year with hardly any problems, that must mean something. But at the same time I wonder if I could be just as happy with someone else. She's my first serious girlfriend, so I suppose I just dont know what else is out there.

Should I have stuck with her and worked it out? Am I just being selfish and immature?

I'm not really regretting breaking up with her, I'm just wondering if I did the wrong thing.

Thanks.

OMG you are not my bf, are you? :(

Seriously...try to work things out with your gf if you really still love her.

I am very very sure she's hurting in pain right now :(

Thanks.

You felt like you were getting tired so you broke up? That's a pretty weak reason.

If you're willing, and she's willing, give it a shot I guess, but don't make a habit out of breaking up.

you sound JUST like my EX! are you ?? LOL.... I am completely the woman in your situation. My advice is go get her before she moves on. Because she will move on if she feels like you rejected her. Dont let your pride get in the way of something special. Maybe SHE is what is out there, why look for what you already have?

If you feel that for some reason, you should not be with her, then I think you should stick with you decision. I feel like you're hurting her more if you stay with her and you don't want to be with her. Just some words, the grass is not always greener on the other side, and after some time of being apart from her, then later you realize she was the one or you should've stayed with her, don't be hurt or surprised if she is not on the same path as you. Just think more about it and pray about it.
