I'm just going to stick to NC until 2 things happen: 1) She contacts me with some sort of truce in mind 2) I'm over her as an ex-girlfriend and ready to move on to being a friend again. I agree with your Second method, its best to Get over the person from an emotional stance. I disagree that "ADULTS" who carried a romantic relation cannot move on to being genuine friends. My relations with my formers have ended for good reason yet the Foundation often started with friendship and you at some point in your life stop tossing out "everything" you built upon simply because the "IN" thing to do is go NC. Yes I went NC to regroup yet I came back as a better friend...and most of my guy friends respect the relationship and know where the line is drawn. IF anything there is more honesty and trust .

I'm glad we see eye to eye about the friends thing. But she is terrible about holding grudges but there's nothing I can do at this point but go on with my own stuff. Im learning to accept that I may never speak to her again even though we used to be great friends. Ill get over it eventually because she really did treat me poorly a decent amount of the time...all my friends agreed :/
