mymission Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I've had the chance to go out a couple of times this week. And do you know what? Just having a bit of a flirt with someone and them buying me a drink has made me feel loads better. I thought to myself "You know what, I'm desirable, some guys fancy me and he's missed out" Its been 7 weeks since the split and I've been low, but I've felt better this week. You should give it a try

lizardking8610 Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 That's great! Glad you're making progress! Getting out and mingling is really important for some people to heal! Otherwise you enter the Post-Relationship Cycle of Doom. Chain smoking and saved by the bell re-runs anyone? My place at 7pm! Happy Easter As an aside or funny story: Since the breakup I have stayed away from the radio and most pop music, (why are they all about relationships?) I have only been listening to NPR, for what seems like months, as it doesn't tug my heart strings as much! I feel a lot smarter and Less Emotional
SilverBlueAndGold Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Chain smoking and saved by the bell re-runs anyone? Oh man, you really know how to bring the pain! As an aside or funny story: Since the breakup I have stayed away from the radio and most pop music, (why are they all about relationships?) I have only been listening to NPR, for what seems like months, as it doesn't tug my heart strings as much! I feel a lot smarter and Less Emotional Fantastic idea! I may just follow that lead....
