That's just so weak. The way you play games is lame.

OMFG, you stood someone up because you couldn't say "we still on for tonight?"

Or by bring proactive and saying "just let me know before Saturday if it's still a go."

Ugh, lame weird floating standards. If you want HER to chase, put it in your dating profile.

It always surprises me the results some people expect to get for putting in the least amount of effort that they deem possible.

The definition of being stood up is

"telling someone you are on your way or where to meet you and NEVER SHOW UP"

How do you consider what I did standing someone up when the details of the date was never discussed?????????

Posted
Some guys don't mind going out on a date because they have GAME and know how to get the A$$. In my case, I have no game and I would just be having a night out on the town without any later intimacy involved which is not a good way to spend my money

So it boils down to being sure you get sex if you pay for a date?

Everyone else in the city plays games so why can't I?

I thought the details were hashed out. She was supposed to meet you for dinner, no?

Exactly why you should set the date, place and time when you ask her out.

You go about it backwards.

It don't have to be sex but some kind of making out.

The only thing that was discussed was it was going to be saturday night and it was going to be in jersey. What time and what place we were going to in jersey was not discussed.

You can if you never intend to have a real date show up. You have to build on a friendship first... Give her a reason to consider you worthy of being interested in enough to want you, all of you.

If you require her to be all needy from the start - you're gonna end up with a very unhealthy gal.

That was your first mistake.

It was tuesday night and the date was saturday. That was going to be discussed on the next conversation if she an effort to say HI before saturday which would have made me call her

Backwards! Most people are BUSY! You don't see that because you don't work.

I work four different jobs...plus I volunteer.

If a guy thinks I have time to sit on the phone - I don't! I want to know exactly when I can see him - but I don't need idle chatter in the meantime!

You need to get super busy working - then you'll understand how valuable time is.

Well like I said getting fined by the city $150 kind of used up all my dating funds for this pay period-lol

Learning to get "game" is doing what many in this thread have been suggesting to you:

  • Following up yourself
  • Being considerate
  • Communicating appropriately
  • Not expecting the girl to be a mind-reader
  • Opening up and being honest

In short, PD, you will never have game if you continue in this fashion. Try going the extra mile sometime and pretend you are GENTLEMAN and see what it gets you...

You might be surprised.

Well I just looked at the calender and my next date won't be until the end of June because I will be busy with the NBA playoffs from April 28th to June 21st

So during that time i will try and learn some things on this board so my first date in June can be FUN!!

I agree. Decency is all it takes. The way you participated wasn't decent, at all, to her.

And throwing trash down - nothing decent about that either. You are consistent, eh?

I didn't throw trash down, I sat the bag next to the trash can because it was to big to fit inside the can. So something with my address was showing through the bag and that's how they knew it was my trash

Then I told them i'm unemployed and don;t have a $150 and they didn't give a sh*T

Posted

Ok so technically you set the trash down...

Why should they care if you're unemployed? They are paying for YOU to NOT work!

Yeah real nicely against the can. I just didn't throw it down

Are you for real? You did NOT ask this girl out. Asking this girl out would have meant indicating a place and a time.

You are very passive-aggressive. You suggest getting together with a girl, yet you don't nail the details of the date. Instead you want her to read your mind, call you so that the details can be fixed. Which you could have done during your the contact anyway.

If you want to be rejected, this is surely the way you have to approach things...

Posted

I am sorry but inquiring minds... You know?

What do you mean you will be Busy with the play offs?

Are you some kind of vendor or something ?

Does it have something to do with your field of work?

If not... Do you mean you will be busy watching games?

Posted

I assume he means watching the game.

PD, this is beyond lame. Many people enjoy sports and still find time to socialize. Clearly, you are always looking for reasons not to go out with women. Please stop pretending that all your "rules" are things reasonable people do and realize that they're probably just ways you avoid actually getting anywhere with dating.

Lots of girls (nice, worthwhile girls) will NOT call, text, etc. asking "how are you doing," etc. until they get to know a guy. Not because they are playing games, but because it's just outside of their personality style or comfort zone.

That girl might have been waiting with some excitement to hear from you about the details of your suggested date. If I had agreed to go out with a guy, that's what I'd have been doing.

Anyway, it's all for the best. Especially for her. Geez.

This. This so much!

Any woman deserves better than a guy who plays mind games.
