HurtZ Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 So my relationship has been going strong since New Years (4 months) and we are very into each other…. Basically, he tells me he loves everything about me. i.e.—“I love holding you, I love your skin, I love your eyes, I love having sex with you , I love being with you, etc. but he still has not said I LOVE YOU -- WHY?!!! He says all that then he says he really likes me and is really into me.There is no way I am saying it first, or should I?????
Nikki Sahagin Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Hmmmmmmm....I don't know...by saying he loves all those things about you, that is kinda saying I love you, but it also sounds more like infatuation than love. Do you love him?
Author HurtZ Posted April 5, 2012 Author Posted April 5, 2012 Ya I do ... and I want to tell him so bad but maybe it's too soon? Plus, shouldn't the guy say it first? J
Nikki Sahagin Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 There aren't really any rules. If you want to say it and feel like saying it, then you should. Traditionally I guess most girls wait for the guy to say it first...(I know I do) but there aren't any rights or wrongs.

I would be mortified if I said I love you and he just gave me a hug or kiss or something and didn’t say it back. I will just bite my tongue or maybe I’ll say it in my sleep so he can hear it but I won’t be responsible if he doesn’t say it back hahaha
Feelin Frisky Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 ...I love having sex with you... Gee, how romantic.

Next time you're lying in bed together, straddle yourself on top of him while he is sleeping and slowly creep up to the side of his face and gently whisper into his ear "I love you". If he wakes up and doesn't say anything back, you can just say you were having a dream and had no idea how you landed on top of him and/or what you said.
Nikki Sahagin Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Gee, how romantic. I'd actually love to hear that lol
Saxis Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Aren't double standards fun?!? Don't expect him to say it if you're too chicken ***** to say it yourself!
