CarrieT Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Clean shaven, most definitely... Can't stand getting chin-burn from kissing a man with stubble.
TheFinalWord Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I wish I could even grow stubble... I wish I didn't have to shave everyday! Grass is always greener on the other side! lol I have blonde hair and my beard grows black haha think nwo hulk hogan
wwwjd Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Scruffy when they are menstruating, clean shaven otherwise. Truth... even it was meant as a joke. There is a reason lots of ads and marketing are now using the stubbled male as thier pitchmen: THEY'VE already done the millions of dollars of research on the human female to determine what catches their eyes and holds their attention the most. And the winner is the stubble. And as we all know: SEXy SELLS (or they would not do it) It's why a recent shaving trimmer tool ad campaign featured 3 famous dudes in suits sporting various man-scaped stubble beards is on TV. It's why Bradley Cooper is "sexiest man of the year" or whatever. It's why previous poster swoons over House. It's why George Clooney, Brad Pit, Colin Ferrle, Hugh Jackman etc etc etc all sport stubble in professionally released photogrpahs as pitchmen for "sexified famous-man representing". I recently did a bunch of research on this very topic and came out of it as Stubble won, clean shaven 2nd and thick wooley beard OR the thinner version hipster beards dead last attractiveness to ladies. They prefer to see the manliness, and see that we are skilled enough to take care of it in a decent manner. you don't have to do the research as marketing companies have dumped millions into it already. This may change in 2 or 30 years, but that is where it is at right now. Some here have different opinions, and that is fair to them too. 1
Star Gazer Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I've been shaving every few days. Going for the Dr. House look. Do women like it better or worse? I don't know. I didn't consult with any. PERFECT. Trust.
ButterflyPrincess Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Kinda depends on the guy for me- I've dated some that look ridiculous with any kind of scruff (especially if it's not well-maintained), but I love the scruffy look on my BF. He's had to go clean-shaven a couple times for certain occasions, and I find he looks younger when he's baby-faced (we're both 23)- the scruff looks more mature and masculine IMO. Again though, when BF does grow out his facial hair, he keeps it trimmed and maintained, which makes a huge difference. One thing though- stick to the conventional "styles" (beard or goatee). My BF did a mustache for Movember (which I tolerated, because it was for charity- but I was thrilled when December rolled around and he shaved it off!). After that he did mutton chops (yes, mutton chops) and I was even more thrilled when those were gone. The beards and goatees I like, but anything else doesn't really sit well with me
nessaaa Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 I have been trying to grow a respectable beard/goatee for........a million years thus far and all my genes will allow is for about 171 hairs to grow directly on my chin that seem to have been the same inch in length for ever now. My mustache is a bit better but won't wrap under so I can have an official goatee... It pisses me off because as much as people tell me to be happy that I don't have a beard...I am a man, i want a beard/goatee lol. My tiny beard gets made fun of all the time...i almost shaved it 2 weeks ago but couldn't bring myself to as we have been through so much lol...can't just give up on him just yet. So ladies what is your view on the baby face look (I'm 24) and the rugged man stubble look which seems to be the preference. I like a smooth soft face for me to smooch on
fortyninethousand322 Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 I've had at least a goatee since I was 16 and periods of full beard, chin strap, and mustache goatee. I'm also a 24 year old kissless virgin. So, buyer beware.
wwwjd Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 so.. are we saying that a billion dollars in advertising marketing research is wrong? Stubble is NOT the most attractive? http://www.demotivationalposters.org/image/demotivational-poster/small/0903/eye-candy-ladies-eye-candy-hugh-jackman-sexy-man-demotivational-poster-1237697474.jpg
