Didn't mean it as a joke. I don't understand why anyone 20+ would consider a 16 year old, who is barely APPROACHING the legal age. That's what I was thinking, though I didn't word it correctly. It ain't legal. Where is it legal? Where is the age of consent under 18? I'm sure there're places out there, but I'm unaware.

But it's sort of strange that a dude in college is hitting on someone who hasn't finished high school. Sure, age differences aren't as big of a deal once you're in college or a college graduate, but someone in HS would still be developing in comparison to someone in college. Hell, they may not even be the same person in 5 years with all of the experiences and things they're being exposed to, so why bother? Why not approach someone closer to where you are in life? Someone who's as close as you are to figuring out who they are and what they want out of life? What would the point be of approaching someone who hasn't got anything figured out? I guess if you're older and realize you want to be with someone younger and less experienced for whatever reason, it's cool.. A bit odd, but cool, s'long as they're of a legal age. (18+)

Well In your state NY according to what I just read on Wikipedia which who the fck knows if its right or not... it says 17 is the age of consent... so technicaly as long as your not a HS teacher you could screw a girl who just turned 17 and is a junior in HS. Just don't make a porno! In my state FL it says if your under 24 years old 16 and 17 year old girls are fair game. 24 and up 18. If I wanted to go date in Georgia age of consent is 16 for all yipeee. So feel free to date thos HS Juniors or what ever who are 17 man haha. Look you're 19 I wouldn't go creating barriers where there are none. Just follow the law and never feel guilty for liking a younger girl!

I'm not like other 16 year old girls out there Anyways, another good thing about this guy is that we're like neighbors, he lives about 5 min walking distance from me. But he's never home always out doing something idk...but i'm considering either to text/call him tomorrow. Going to be pretty awkward, but any last minute advice on where to lead this conversation? ...also he's studying to be a lawyer just wanted to put that out there

At least give him a chance to consider you. A mature person can smell another mature person from a mile away, which means he should be able to smell you everyday since he lives only blocks away. Tell him to see you somewhere. Don't even ask him. Just demand that you need to see him. If he likes you then he will agree to this just like that. He would be crazy to pass you up. If he passes you then you do deserve better anyways.
