She then asked how old I am and then asked.."when is your birthday? My response was..."My birthday is in June and I;m a cancer if that's why you were asking. Her response: That's not what I asked you, when is your birthday? My response: Why is it so important for you to have that information now? Her response: You know what, forget it and then hangs up HUH?? LOL Did I say something wrong or is every female in Philadelphia retarded? Or maybe I;m retarded and don't understand this whole birthday thing?

This must be pretty well known by girls of a certain demographic by now, so there's a pretty good chance as soon as you start being evasive about normal stuff like this, she assumes you're a jerk/player/PUA and decides to waste no more time on you. 3

The whole process seems quite a bit like filling in the paperwork before going on a date. Perhaps that level of annoyance coupled with an evasive answer after being asked so many questions about herself just hit that one last nerve. 4

Not if we are on the phone for the first time ever in life. So if I had told her my birthday then what? she knows and it's still a possibility we may not get serious so why ask that question?

Asking someone what area they live in is a completely understandable question for a man planning dates, to ask someone's exact birthday on a first phone call is just plain weird. And persisting past the extent OP chose to answer it, then terminating because she couldn't squeeze OP like an information aphid is the sign of a nut. Good for OP, one more weeded out.
