No, sorry.

But I did in fact have pizza for breakfast! Before it was even mentioned in the thread

Only cause you mentioned Pizza, I am going to order one now! You gave me munchies for pizza, I hope you feel good with yourself!

Weight is NOT always an indicator of health. We all have different body types, that sometimes DO NOT want to lose weight. My body has stubbornly stayed in the 120-130 range no matter what I do or try. It'd be a lot more productive in society to stop focusing so much on WEIGHT, and focus on HEALTH instead.

My exW was/is your height and weight when she was your age 27 years ago. During our M she fluctuated between 170 and 190 and, other than routine female-related doctor visits for pap smears and mammograms, she was as healthy or healthier than myself. IMO, that's genetics. At the high end, she did develop borderline hypertension, but it went away after losing a bit of weight. Everyone is different, both genetically and in their viewpoints regarding 'fatness'.

So to judge any one overweight by th concept that going to the gym is not rocket science is really not fair FS.

There is a difference between overweight and FAT. Overweight is not being entirely in shape and carrying around an extra few pounds that are noticeable (depending on height). FAT is to the point where you sit down and I see rolls, or you walk and parts of you jiggle more than jello. I was talking about why FAT people still exist, not overweight people.

Besides, it's not THAT hard to watch your diet. I went from on my way to chubby to in shape and "do you model". And it's easier for men to do so.

So if I can do it, I expect my man to be able to do it.

I count calories, and exercise according to my BMI, and I'm not losing weight.

120-130lbs for a woman IS NOT OVERWEIGHT.

Unless you are under 5ft.

I'd be happy with an avg. height woman in the 120-130 range.

I'm 5' and 1/2". So where does that leave me? :p

Either way, I wish we could examine the underlying ideas of why "extra weight" is such an unattractive thing. Yes, it can be an indicator of health-but people can also be unhealthy while being skinny as well. And SUPER skinny is just as unhealthy as super overweight, yet models are seen as the epitome of beauty.

Pizza is relatively healthy if you get the local stuff, eat rational servings, and stay away from the cured meats. It's the processed filth they churn out at Papa Johns and Dominoes that makes you fat, one look at the Papa Johns garlic sauces nutritional value will show you it's pure LDL fat rofl (doesn't stop me from practically drinking it though).

I wouldn't bother man, there are so many women who are incapable of viewing this particular issue objectively, I mean who knows what they see when they look in the mirror 80 times a day, a giant fat toad? a medusa with snakes coming out its head? A beauty queen? A skinny rail? Whatever it is, it's a coin toss as to whether it has any basis in objective fact at all. Then there are the ones who seem to see actuality in the mirror, it defies reason as to how some can look in a mirror and see reality and some can't.

I've heard endless women characterize a giant fat girl as "so pretty." "She's so pretty, don't you think?" Then the same women in nearly the same breath about a guy without a six pack, "he needs to work out more, his stomach isn't flat. He'd get a GF if his waist was 30 and not 34." LAWLZ. I simply don't listen to anything women say about weight any more unless they are certified, MDs, or personal trainers.

I agree with you that overweight doesn't necessarily mean unhealthy and it sucks many folks seem to find it unattractive and some even judge a person's worth according to body shape... :(

In response to your question, here's another idea: being over (or under) weight suggests one has little or not respect for one's self, and being around downers like that is simply not very enjoyable.

Yay!

The pizza I had for breakfast was homemade, by me. It had a whole wheat crust, which probably puts in firmly in the "healthy" column.

But it also had lots of onions! And garlic, yum.

Like I said before, if you want your woman to lose weight, you better be willing to step up and help her lose weight. That includes paying for gym membership, eating healthy and exercising with her, encouraging her, etc.

I wouldn't be so quickly to jump on phineas though. There are many women like his ex. They have a lot of time and encouragement to lose weight but have a plethora of excuses. I'm sure it would be frustrating to be with a woman like that.

my prob was the girl was not making excuses, she said she eats right and exercises... not an excuse AT ALL

ugh

But it isn't working for her if she's complaining so much about it now can it?

you just sound very stupid in every post you do

I agree about a lot, and you argued about not needing to work out earlier didn't you?

so, calories in/calories out thing generally means EXERCISE IS GOOD

it is also good for mental health, which is why I do it

Eating right to some people means not eating in front of other people. I had a co-worker that use to complain how she works out hard and eats practically nothing but still can't lose weight (she was easily morbidly obese).

I never saw her work out, maybe she does, I don't know. But I do know she hides food and eats it when people aren't looking and then eats "only a salad" in front of everybody. I firmly believe that she believes her own lies that she is really trying to lose weight.

Yes, it's fair. I'm not attracted to overweight women. Why would I want to stay with someone I wasn't attracted to? That's not even fair to her.

Re metabolism, etc. hint...if you gain weight on 2000 calories a day and someone else doesn't....then don't eat 2000 calories. No brainer.

One can't 'magically' gain 10 pounds..that's 33,000 calories. Your car can't have more gas in the tank after driving it around the block and your body can't gain fat by expending more calories than you use.

nonono i am saying it isn't fair to expect someone to be attracted to you if you gain weight

ya, no, I know people like this x10

most overweight people i know are like this and are like; you must have a fast metabolism cause you eat whatever you want

um, no, if you see me it it's always healthy... it's not salads and sometimes it is junk food

buuut when I do eat bad I HOLD MYSELF ACCOUNTABLE.

There appears to be some misunderstandings about the difference between male and female bodies.

Male bodies have substantially more testosterone which ensures for a greater portion of muscle mass for less work. Same goes for fat burning abilities.

The female body is intended to naturally store more fat, both from having far less testosterone and as reserves to ensure for healthy progeny.

To expect a woman to get the same results from physical exercise would be unrealistic. To expect a woman to have the same percentage of fat as men, particularly young men in their teens and twenties whereby their testosterone levels are at their peak, would be delusional.

That said, as long as a woman's body fat percentage is below 30%, it's considered reasonably healthy. If her body fat percentage dips too far below 10%, she's in the unhealthy zone.

With men, body fat percentage below 5% and above 25%, are considered unhealthy.

Feelin Frisky

Here is a link to a presentation by a doctor who teaches something everyone should know about their body but probably none of our parents knew (or their parents on down the line). We have a "cellular switch" which is effected by "WHAT" we eat and not as much how much that determines whether people with any predisposition to obesity will get fat or not. I wish I would have known this all my life because i could have kept the weight off after my diets just happened to exclude the right foods that turn the "fat burning cellular switch" off. I'm using this diet now and it's great. The link leads to sale of a program but you don't have to go that far to learn what come as an amazing realization. Carbohydrates cause release of insulin which turns off the switch called "hormone sensitive lipase" HSL which burns fat. And once we establish a few days of pleasure foods with a lot of sugar and starch, it becomes very hard to turn the HSL switch back on. That is how we with weight problems that keep coming back create what seems like an inescapable relapse that means loss of control for a while until we're desperate. Then we do drastic things which involve cutting out the sugars and starches and increasing protein which lowers the influence of insulin over us and turns back on the "fat burning gene" of "hormone sensitive lipase".

For some people we just can not have those indulgences and rewards after a diet. It's a very real and simple chemical process but because we we don't understand it, the effects of our actions trigger dopamine releases of pleasure in our brain that act like addiction triggers and we crave and compulsively pursue the starches, sugars, grains and grain products like alcohol that return us to being obese. There is even more to larn but through this video and others my brother has turned me on to, I have been able to start this life style and have lost my appetite for those treats. breads and starches. I have to "remember" to have dinner now and i think I can call upon this knowledge now in the future so not to set myself up for a relapse--a relapse which often starts with accepting pleasure foods shared socially in my family by other porkers. They sabotage each other and keep their fat burning switches very much off. I know that this IS the single logic I have to stick to when I decline the cake and ice cream or the night at Olive Garden. Good luck strugglers (and Oprah).

I agree with every point you made. Every letter of the entire post.

What happens when three becomes four, by fate? Seems like you didn't really think things through before getting pregnant again.

So much win in the diction & irony department with that sentence. lulz.

You cannot out exercise a poor diet. Period.

it would take you an hr of cardio to burn off an average candy bar & that's only if it was intense cardio.

Please educate yourself before you tell other's their stupid.

You have shown zero knowledge of even knowing what a calorie is or what it takes to burn one in this thread.
