mostlyclueless Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 I think most girls are curious about them but afraid to go for it. And most guys seem to think they're pretty cool, as long as they're the only guy. 2
blueskyday Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Um, No! Seriously, a guy who even brings this up risks losing the woman he is with. We women want to be special. If we are in a monogamous relationship, then we expect it to remain so. Threesomes are cheating, with all parties present. What a quick way way to make a woman feel she isn't enough. Best to forget this, or find a couple of women who don't care about you, or themselves for that matter. 1
Author mostlyclueless Posted March 29, 2012 Author Posted March 29, 2012 blueskyday you don't think there are any women who might enjoy them?
Feelin Frisky Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Never with anyone I really love or care about involved. In my book threesomes are for a certain life-style of abandon where it can be exciting if it's one and done more or less. I found it distracting and less engaging than intimate sex with one person. I just don't like exposing myself that way to a third party. My momma raised a prude underneath my sometimes wolfish exterior.
fishtaco Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Would be interesting with two women. Not interested in having a schlong other than my own involved. But if I live my whole life without checking off that check box, I'm okay with it. 1
TripLine Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 just find one bisexual female, she will probably have a friend, risk your friendship by asking for a 3some, hit or miss. Small risk, big reward.
pteromom Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 I've done it, and... meh. It was weird. I'd rather focus on ONE other person. But if someone is bi, I could see how it would be very exciting for them. Still glad I did it just to have the experience.

Still glad I did it just to have the experience. Same for me. Been there, done that, don't want to go there again. I found it a bit awkward, to be honest and have since declined any other proposals (never with BFs, but a couple of FWB have suggested it and got a big fat NO)
veggirl Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 I couldn't do it. I have no desire to either. I can see why some people might be interested though, just not for me! Once I was in a hot tub with 2 male friends and they were trying to push for it. I was a little disturbed!!

No threesomes for me, pleasing one woman at a time takes all my energy.
amog4l Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 unfortunately, when u tell a girl a 3some, they are thinking two guys and her... not 2 girls and you bro 3
Author mostlyclueless Posted March 29, 2012 Author Posted March 29, 2012 Why does everyone keep thinking I'm a dude?
alphamale Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 I think most girls are curious about them but afraid to go for it. And most guys seem to think they're pretty cool, as long as they're the only guy. i'm very partial to them myself 1
Thieves Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Wow, I'm actually surprised at the responses, especially from the guys! As for me, I've definitely entertained the thought of a threesome and can't say that if the opportunity came up, that I wouldn't consider it. Of course, if I were in a relationship and my partner wasn't comfortable with it, that'd be a different story... I think for a lot of people who haven't experienced it or want to, that it can sometimes be risky to bring up the subject of threesomes mainly because of a few negative stereotypes that come with the idea in a (mostly) traditionally monogamous society. That and bisexuality, which although is more openly accepted nowadays, is still sometimes looked at as "sketchy". It's all good, though. Different strokes for different folks... literally, I guess. 1
make me believe Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 I don't think "most girls are curious about threesomes" is an accurate statement. I'm a girl and I'm DEFINITELY not curious about a threesome. And none of my female friends have ever had one, or expressed interest in the idea. I think threesomes are probably overrated. To me it just seems like it would be awkward, and one person would be left out in the cold much of the time. I doubt they generally go the way that the parties involved think they will. Plus I think a lot of people THINK they are ok with a threesome, but when they do it in reality (especially for a couple inviting a third person into their bed), it brings up a lot of feelings & discomfort & jealousy they weren't expecting. I also think it's kind of a stereotype that all guys want two girls at once. There have been threads on LS before where plenty of the male members said they aren't really interested in the idea. 5

This. I thought it would be great! Best friend and a guy we both fancied! Yeah... I felt left out everytime they were doing their thing. She probably did to. And in the end our friendship kinda started going downhill from there (not that it was a great friendship and I'm glad it's over, but the topic of the threesome came up a few times when we started arguing and "breaking up")

It was OK but mostly sort of a logistical problem, interesting to get that box checked off but not really that great.
pteromom Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 To me it just seems like it would be awkward, and one person would be left out in the cold much of the time. The one I took part in, we were all busy all the time. I won't go into too much detail, but nobody was left out. I am just not into girls, so it wasn't as "hot" for me as it would have been otherwise.
CarrieT Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 I've done way too many of them and am happy to never have any again... They look good in porn, but there are always emotions involved and - honestly - the SMELL from that many people's bodily fluids is not pleasant.
Jane2011 Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 I'm not all that interested in them. But if I did one, I'd want it to be me and two guys. Doubt I'll ever do one.

AIDsFan1488 Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 three somes are disgusting. I would gladly have sex with two women seperately , but sorry, homosexual women repulse me almost as much as their male counterparts.
Oxy Moronovich Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 I don't think "most girls are curious about threesomes" is an accurate statement. I think it's accurate. The vast majority of women nowadays are bisexual. It's the new "in-thing" for women. If I walk into a room with 5 women, I'm sure around 4 of them are going to say they are bi/curious. That being said, my only 3some experience was at a cabin in Baldwin, Michigan. Baldwin has a nice lake where people go to fish and there's hunting nearby. To make a long story short, I found myself in a rowboat with two girls I liked at 1 am. And, even though my approach was lame, I convinced them to have a threesome (even though I'm sure they'd done it before with another dude). We tried to have sex in the lake but it was too awkward because one of them was real drunk. So we had sex in the boat, trying our best not to tip it over. One thing that made it memorable was that we kept pretending we were drunking teens and Jason Voorhees was somewhere in the surrounding forest waiting to gore us to death. That was probably one of the few likable experiences I've ever had living in Michigan.
