I don't know anyone well enough to be able to say, but I wouldn't inflict myself on anyone right now anyway. I really wouldn't. anyone flirts with me right now, and I back off - not that it happens that often.

 

In the space of twenty-four hours last year, I was called a misandrist by one person, and told that the way I expressed myself was "cute" by someone on a totally different forum. This subject makes me squirm a little at this point. I had a long admiration for someone since I came around to LS in 2010 but I always looked at the frequency and nature of positive comments exchanged not as lures but as happily offered ego strokes and I know how far they go for me--they are a renewing blessing out of the blue from time to time. Just one every three months or so was good enough. I think one was taken too literally though and I regret that I could have chosen a softer statement. That aside, I still very much love at least two other LSers--a loyal platonic friend I trust dearly and one mostya ya'll know who I can't entirely give up on. She's in my blood.
