pierremagus Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Hi guys, I was supposed to have a second date with a girl for lunch. Everything sounded good until she sent me a message saying that she has an interview that day and she might have to work afterwards. She said that she thinks we should check for another day Also she told me that she's going to the club with her roomates that night and I should come with my friends... So my plan is to go with a friend and make some moves... to test the waters... Is that a good idea? Thanks
phineas Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Tell you her you have plans & to let you know when she wants to do lunch & forget about her. At least, that's how I do it. "might" isn't in the vocabulary of women interested in actually going out with me.
january2011 Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 You could accept it at face value and that she was telling the truth about the interview and work. If you want to go to the club with a friend, do so. She may have made the suggestion as a gentle let down or a genuine compromise to try to meet up. I think you don't have enough data points to be certain either way. If it's important that your date is more enthusiastic about seeing you and makes every effort to clear her schedule for you, then this girl might not be the person you're looking for. In which case, don't go. If you're open to 'sometimes life gets in the way' then it's worth trying one more time just to see what happens. 1
alphamale Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Is that a good idea? Thanks if she wants to see u in a group situation that is not good. don't go. try for another lunch date and if she accepts then go, if she hems and haws about a second date then look elsewhere
