Can a 7 in looks become a 9 or 10?

When it comes to looks, I've always been rated either average or above average but never the highest. In number, I was given a 7 by different voters. It's ok but I wish I was higher.

Can I improve this or will I forever be just a 7? In addition it's not helping that I'll be turning 25 on April.

Even my ex bf once told me that when he met me, I wasn't exactly a hot 10 but pretty and good looking.

I appreciate the honestly but damn this means my family and relatives lied to me all the time. If they were the voters they would rate me higher when I'm just average or slightly above average.

It is all subjective, sweetheart. A 7 to some is a 4 to others and a 10 to another.

You just need to find the guy who sees you as a 10 and not worry about what others think.

If your boyfriend said you were pretty and attractive, I wouldn't worry too much. "Pretty" is much more up into the realm of 8s, maybe 9's... it sounds like the guys who are attracted to you think you're pretty darn good, even if you aren't a "perfect" 10. Why focus on being the hottest commodity when it's clear you're already high up there?

I like makeovers with those before and after photos. It shows you what is possible.

Make the most of what you have and don't worry about assigning a number to it.

Sure, I think it's totally possible for a 7 woman to become a 9 or 10.

I hear you're talking about voters. Did you put your pic on Hot Or Not? I wouldn't say that site is that accurate.

Hey there's nothing wrong with being a 7, that's good, that's above average, it means you're good looking.

Like Carrie T said though, it's all subjective.

I know it's good but that's like saying you're happy with getting a B or C+ average when you really want an A.

Maybe I might be asking too much but it does kind of annoy me how some women my age probably hardly ever try at all and are by nature a 9/10.

Those are the ones that get hit on the most. I have gotten hit on a couple times but not as much as them.

I'm in your age range somewhat (I'm 27) and I'm a 5 at best after trying really, really hard. I emphasize, but you need to remind yourself that you're already attractive (a 7-9 depending on opinion.) A slam-dunk 10 is not always necessary.

Sometimes life is just unfair. Some of us are going to end up alone because of the genetics we were born with. Focus on being healthy and appreciating your good looks, even if they're not perfect, and you'll be fine. Again, a 7-9 is still pretty darn good.

All this talk of "average" and using number scales has always boggled my mind...statistically, you could estimate that "average" consists of about 67% of the population, which on a 1-10 scale would put them at 5...which is pretty respectable...yet you call someone a 6 and they get butthurt...but 6 is still above average...

Which begs the question, what IS average anyway...?

Nothing wrong with improving your looks if you can, even if you're already good looking. I guess what I ment was that being a 7 is nothing to feel down about, and that you shouldn't really feel like you 'must' be a 9 or 10.

Whats considered a 10? A Victoria Secret model?

If young have to gjve yourself anumber then you're no better than the men who cudely date women base on looks. Don't do that to yourself.

Also it is all subjective. You probably look like a 10 already but to certain individuals you're a 7 or a 5.

I was with my date the other night and while I was dressed down in just a sequin shirt and sweatpants, he thought I looked sexy as hell.

Start hitting the gym hard. Not only will it help you look better. It will make you feel better about yourself. Once you start feeling better about yourself, you'll realize that men's scales are sliding. Every guy has a different desires with different rankings. But when you feel good about yourself and like you accomplished something you'll start ranking higher on your own scale and you'll find that's all that really matters anymore.

Most can improve their looks by at least a couple of points by getting in the right kind of shape, if they weren't already. Personally I find blonde hair a big plus too, That's probably worth at least a point on it's own through my eyes, but others will have different tastes.

Ha! Funny thing I was a blonde a while baack and it attracted all the wrong attentions. Since I went back tovmy natural color I've been told I look more classy.

I think this is absolutely possible. The way I see it, it has to come from within the individual. I guess I'll talk about myself here. I've always thought of myself as a 5 or a 6 at the most. I'm totally fine with that and I really didn't have any confidence issues. I took a break from dating, chased after whatever makes me happy and my passions and became a more positive person, also a much fitter one. Nowadays I get complimented as being handsome and sexy when I least expect it. I am totally surprised by these compliments but it I see the correlation with how you see and how you present yourself to others. Also, it's not just the looks part that makes you physically a 9 or a 10. It can also include drive, discipline, values, goals, and other things that may not be part of your physical self but makes you more physically attractive (it that makes sense).

Let's not forget basic grooming and dress style...it can do wonders...

That one was taken on my 24th b-day. I might have to update another one as soon as I get another camera (it got stolen).

Well actually I have an updated one but it's on my mother's friend's digital cam.

Even the tiniest changes can make a difference. I worked with a woman who was average looking. One day she came to work and everyone complimented her and asked what she had done differently because they couldn't figure it out. She just looked better somehow.

She had her eyebrows professionally shaped. Seriously!

Be grateful for what you get, cause some don't get hit on at all.

Why is everyone so obsessed with their looks??:bunny::eek:

I don't think people can become a 10. They either are or they aren't. It basically requires having a fit body with fat in all the right places. The face must be very pretty without makeup.

Sunny Leone comes very close.

Though, I'm not saying that a 7 girl can't move up to an 8 with the right clothes, hair and make-up. Wanting to go higher requires hitting the sweet spot of body weight, and even then having the T & A really is just a matter of genetics.

IMO, I think it's healthiest to try and look your best and not worry about what number you are.

I guess it's human nature to thrive for the maximum goal/score whether it's in looks or getting the highest GPA in college. At some point everyone wants to look their best and wonder what's it like being a 10.

most people, guys and girls can improve their looks I'd say by (since a # was requested ) 20-30% if they CHOOSE to...

It's simple- but not ez.

Diet and exercise!

No more sugars (def no pop, fast food etc etc. no processed foods. All natural, lotsa veggies and lean protein) Eat only food ur grandma ate!

AND u must become a fitness buff - hi intensity workouts well beyond what most people do at the gym- regularly!!

This truly works- and everything about you physically and alot psychologically will change for the better!

What you give up will be more than compensated by what u gain- I'm speaking from yrs of experience on this...good luck!!
