Relationship in college. after the break up, we didn't see each other until a few months later when we both went home for summer break. Although we did maintain contact while we were at school. When we saw eachother that summer, we were both in new relationships with somebody else. However, upon seeing eachother, old emotions came back, and we were both feeling really confused about whether or not we should try working things out again or just maintain our current new relationships. We both decided to maintain our new relationships... After the summer, we both went back to school and continued to keep in contact with eachother. Eventually the contact slowed down as I'm guessing we were both more involved in our new relationship. But heres where it gets weird. In late October 2011, she called me asking about a letter her mom received that said "untrue things" about her boyfriend. I told her I had nothing to do with it which is 100% true... After this accusation, neither of us initiated contact with eachother for a while. However, once I finally did, she didn't respond. Then I waited some more time, and she didn't respond. After waiting even more time, by this time its early January 2012, I asked her what the deal was, and I asked her if she still believed that I had written that letter. She said... "I know you didn't write it, your SISTER did ( 100% FALSE), I'm just done, Don't text me anymore." I did not take this accusation lightly, and told her a few things via text, nothing mean, just things that needed to be said... Three months after this, I tried texting her again. She responds: "STOP CONTACTING ME, I DONT KNOW WHAT ITS GOING TO TAKE YOU TO STOP BUT JUST STOP, AND FORGET MY NUMBER".. WTF guys?? Edited March 27, 2012 by Unbalanced

This may be one of those situations where you will never get resolution. I know, because I have been there before and am right now. When somebody is upset like she apparently is, no matter if you are at fault or not, nothing you say is going to smooth it over. And the more you try, the worse it will be. This has all the hallmarks of "endless frustration" written all over it. Your best bet is to honor her wish and never contact her again. Ever. 1

It just pisses me off, because she put us on bad terms based on something that WASN"T my fault. Whatever though, I just gotta let it go I guess. I tried, and there's nothing I can do

I tried, and there's nothing I can do It doesnt matter whether it was your fault or no. Leave her alone. Problem solved. Exit the drama dept stage left.
