I know for sure I don't like when some men I meet seem incapable of having deep conversations. And not 'typically' deep conversations, but really out there kind of stuff. I'm a philosophy/psychology enthusiast, so yeah, I need substance. So if they can't enjoy talking often about things above a surface level = not too appealing. Also, when a guy really only likes one 'genre' of music. I'm a huge music nerd, so I listen to everything from rock, to foreign music, to dance music, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's. I like diversity, and I feel like I'd go insane if I had to listen to just one genre of music during the entire relationship! PS: Gotye, is your username named after a certain band? yes, after breakup all I listened to was gotye's popular song "someone that I used to know" over and over for hours to remind myself that my ex was not the same man... I then ventured out to gotye's other music and yes about the genre music... ugh, I have a pet peeve for people who ONLY listen to classic rock... like, yes, classic rock is AWESOME but venture out beyond what is already established as good. I don't need a guy huge into music, buuuut it's a bonus if the guy is into experimental and industrial music, cause not many people like to listen to people screaming for 5 minutes straight and if I find a guy who likes that then YES
