paloma22 Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 being a hypocrite here because this is me procrastinating, but... turnoffs include: excessive drinking, lack of goal-orient, procrastination, laziness, insecurity, muscle shirts, bad shoes ...
phineas Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Things that make me say Buh-Bye: Friends with EX's even though they claim he treated them badly. When a woman has wild kingdom going on in her home, Pet's are ok. more than 2 dogs & cats is not.
FrustratedStandards Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 The nose. I hate button noses, or really wide and flat noses. If a man doesn't have a strong, masculine and big nose (not huge, but I prefer bigger than average) than I don't find his face masculine or attractive. Yep, weird.
snug.bunny Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Excessive hair in the belly button and/or belly button lint.
Jane2011 Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 I used to abhor a lot of chest hair. But the last guy I dated had a lot, and I liked it.

You know what they say about men with big noses. They need really thick tissues. ----- This is the first time I've actually heard a woman say she wants a bigger than average nose. My nose is a bit bigger than average and I've thought about getting it rhinocerosed.

I went on a date with a guy with a button nose, and I didn't like it. I kept thinking...you need a bigger nose. (He was really nice, though). He's now engaged to a woman. I'm happy for him.
wildgeese Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Not into men who wear white sneakers, drive motorcycles or worship Charles Bukowski. Big muscles are also a turn-off. (Have a gym membership? Keep on walking.) Way into a man who tips a server well, is into jazz, and/or has laugh lines. Bookworms are also way sexy.

Woggle Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Women who don't bathe. A woman who obviously goes long periods without a shower would be a major turn off. Another thing is spray tan. I am not into orange people.

This makes me curious though, what do men think of pale women? Like a Kate Bosworth?

This makes me curious though, what do men think of pale women? Like a Kate Bosworth? Yes I people who don't bathe. I once met a woman over the internet who smelled like onions and had more oil in her hair than in my car. I like pale women. I like women who are their natural color. If she takes a shower and looks like she is an entirely different ethnicity it is a turn off. 1

Leigh 87 Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I like this thread and wanna contribute, but am not sure if I actually have anything that is a funny turn off with men.. My turn offs are typical things.... lazy, hates pets, when I am heavier than they are, etc...

No. No no no no no!! I am starting a protest. Seriously? I'll have to think about it. I always considered it to be one of my worst features. ---------- Oh yeah, I found something that turns me off about women. Looks like all she needs is a snorkel and she's good to go. That or she might just spread wings
USCGAviator Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 A woman with too much makeup makes me go soft. So does a loud obnoxious personality.
Author gotye Posted March 27, 2012 Author Posted March 27, 2012 I used to abhor a lot of chest hair. But the last guy I dated had a lot, and I liked it.i think it's sooo cute i don't like the sexy, buff pretty boy bod so hair just makes a guys body look even farther from that look
Thieves Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 I also really am turned on by men in glasses, also not a necessity but it's definitely something I am really into. Oooh, I love men with glasses! So sexy. As far as things I'm picky about... I know for sure I don't like when some men I meet seem incapable of having deep conversations. And not 'typically' deep conversations, but really out there kind of stuff. I'm a philosophy/psychology enthusiast, so yeah, I need substance. So if they can't enjoy talking often about things above a surface level = not too appealing. Also, when a guy really only likes one 'genre' of music. I'm a huge music nerd, so I listen to everything from rock, to foreign music, to dance music, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's. I like diversity, and I feel like I'd go insane if I had to listen to just one genre of music during the entire relationship! PS: Gotye, is your username named after a certain band?
Els Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 I want my guy to be able to independently reformat his PC and set up a router, at the very least. For some reason, it doesn't strike me as sexy for me to have to do it for him.
eleanorhurting Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 i dont find men who do too many status updates on facebook sexy its actually a turn off. one here or there, yes. And i hate sappy status updates. If its something funny then OK
Teal Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Wants pets that don't sleep in a terrarium all day, but refuses to train them to live in a human household. I've always been astonished at how many people don't, since while growing up my sister's dogs were trained to not even set foot in the kitchen so that people could focus on cooking without making sure they were shut off in a room somewhere.
Woggle Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 I agree with those who say being close minded about music is a turnoff. If all she listens to is top 40 pop stuff I don't think we would have anything in common.
