Livilegs Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Hi, I recently decided to surprise my husband and shaved , my intention was to spice our sex life up , cutting it short without going into too much detail HE DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE!!! I'm feeling very rejected and invisible at the moment. Is there something wrong with me for feeling so angry and insulted by this? When I told mentioned to him that I was feeling ignored because of his reaction his answer was,,, oh it's no big deal! Help what should I do about this??

I started shaving the ol' Frank & Beans when I started biking to work, and needed to be a bit more comfortable riding in street clothes. I'd gone back and forth between 'hippie bush' and 'hardwood floors' a half-dozen times over a 2-3 year period, and she never mentioned it. Several of our friends were talking one day, and the wife said she'd been encouraging her husband to go bare for a while, but he wasn't thrilled about the idea. I said I'd been doing it for years, and it generally worked out well. My wife scoffed, said I needed to stop messing with the poor guy and not tell tall tales... A bit later, in private, I suggested that perhaps my suggestions that she wasn't really paying proper attention to that area had more merit than she'd previously been willing to consider.
