AMN819 Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 So..I met this guy at work....(restaurant)...about 1.5-2months ago....he was a manager in training that was going to a different store...anyway, at first he didn't act all interested in me..then we started hanging out at a local bar together..We went up there together Wednesday and by the end of the night, ended up kissing. Two nights later, same thing..this time he ended up coming home with me. As he prepared to go to sleep, I told him that if he wanted to go home, since we BOTH had to get up early in the morning, that I wouldn't be offended. He THEN mentioned that he wouldn't mind being able to sleep in his own bed and getting some sh*t done in the morning before work. I said okay...at the door, he pushed for the hug and kiss goodbye and then left. Next morning, I wrote him a text message that pretty much said "I hope you don't feel weird about what happened.....(something like that)..he wrote back "no, I just needed sleep..I actually just woke up. Have a good Day, I know I will" We had discussed on Wednesday (after the kiss) that since he had just become a manager at a new store and since we had BOTH just gotten out of a relationship, we were gonna take it easy..but he said he really wanted to hang out whenever he wans't working and all that. So, he hasn't called and he is no longer at my store...so, what do I do? Do I give it time...do I call him in a few...or did I just make myself look like a complete skank and it's doubtful for him to call???
masked_man Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 It does, to me, sound like a bit of rebound sex. The fact he hasn't called is not a good sign. Still, it you feel it's worth pursuing, then as I see it, you have nothing to lose really by giving it one more try and calling him. If nothing comes of that, then move on.
