travelbug1996 Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 I believe that there is real love out there but I have been opening my heart too easily to men that over estimate how interested they are in a real relationship. I also don't wanna get into casual flings so Imma just take my time and spend time getting to know men instead of focusing on "chemistry" and mutual interests. It takes courage to commit to the ups and downs and most people aren't prepared to do that. So in the mean time I'll be protective of my heart but no so much that I'm paranoid. This forum has helped me a lot and its really painful to be deceived and betrayed, so I wish you all the best. 2

I totally agree with what you said. But just because you take your time doesn't insure you won't get hurt either. People are fickle with love, you just have to be willing to get hurt, they have to be good enough to begin with to get hurt. No one knows what to expect, we're dealing with people and I think we humans are a mystery. What affects one person one way, affects another differently. 1
