another just friends topic :(

So me and this girl meet about 3 years ago, and ever since then we have been more than friends, off and on relationships, always flirting. And everything has been great, Thursday she told me she wanted a break and for me to give her space, so I did that, I did text her some but it was because we have tested every single day for the past 3 years. I did not another her our anything I just made small talk. I did text her mom though and all her mom what she thought of everything and her mom said that no matter what happens that me and the girl should stay friends because apparently wewere more friends than a couple. I talked to this girl everysingle night and tested her every chance I had so I don't see how that is just friends,I took this girls virginity and we have done other things, like on the way taking her home and late night phone calls.but here lately I've been changing shifts at work going from evening to morning, and not waking up until 1on to waking up at 6am and she got upset because I didn't come see her when I got off of work because I was tired. I wanted to but sometimes I honestly didn't feel safe driving. I want to work things out with her and continue or relationship.we always talked about spending our lives together and having kids so thinking about that is making it harder. But like I said she tested me yesterday and said that she has thought about it and prayed about it and thinks we should just stay friends...I don't really want to try no contract because she is kind of my one and only true friend...I would trust get with me deepest secrets add she would me. I just really don't want or relationship to end here. Oh and Monday we had a big argument and she she said Thursday that she want happy anymore when she said she wanted to take a break.I've been going strong with this girl for 13 months now and I don't want to s end here, I doubt there is anyone els and she just started a new job and is on her period, should I wait aweek before I try to talk her out of just friends to give her time to"dry"up? Any response Errol be appreciated.thank you.

 

Also I just bought her a promise ring less than a month ago, what should I do about that?
