nature Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 I am single, so this isn't about me. However, my ex ex and I split over the May long weekend a few years ago. And many people I know are suffering hard times with their partners right now and seem they are on the verge of breaking up. And it seems many people here on LS are going thru breakups or still recovering from a breakup that happened last spring? Is it just me, or does it seem like more breakups happen in the spring? Its so beautiful out, the sun is shining, the birds are singing again, flowers are blooming. Shouldnt it be the time to celebrate having someone you love in your life? But instead, it seems people are dumping each other left right and centre.
nea clementine Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Must be the spring fever . That or summer flings.
CaliBabe Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 I agree about the spring/summer. My assumption is people wanna be single and have fun.
Author nature Posted March 25, 2012 Author Posted March 25, 2012 So they just up and leave someone they say they are madly in love with to be single and have fun? AFter being together for years? Maybe it is the spring fever.
Philosoraptor Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 In the spring and summer it just seems like people see more of what is out there. In the winter everyone is wearing multiple layers or staying indoors. When you go out in the pretty weather everyone is wearing as little as they can get away with and having fun. Sure looks like you could trade up pretty easily.
