3 weeks later and broke n/c

ex broke up with me 3 weeks ago and i decided NC was the best thing for me. broke it just today and i hate myself for it. i called him, told him i missed him, told him im miserable, basically did everything i shouldnt have done.

 

his response?..."im happy now, i dont wanna show you any emotion and i dont want to give u any false hope that we're gonna get back. save ur learning experience for the next guy. i told you already, dont wait for me and move on."

 

...Those words coming from a person who loved me so much. 2 years together, so much love and memories. the person who gave up so much of his time and effort to show me how much i ment to him. i didnt even deserve 1 chance to show him im able to compromise. no more chance now. whats left is to move on cuz we're strangers all over again...

I agree that he cut ties in a very respectful manner and made his intentions well known. Most people get the runaround and false hope that lengthens the time that it takes to heal. All you can do is continue your NC and work on yourself.

Your ex is very polite and straight. Recover yourself from the pain and ask your self, do you want to get your ex back or let your ex go? If you have made a decision go for it!

Yeah he is a great guy. Like he said if we're ment to be, we'll end up together in the future. But right now he's happy n im thankful to have such a beautiful closure. It was just a bad timing for the both of us. I learned alot n he has to. If it wasn't for him I would never get the chance to be who I am today. And to that I respect him alot
