ctes300 Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Almost 4 months ago I had started to exchange some emails with a woman on a dating site. She seemed like a straight forward enough person. We make plans to meet that fell through over Christmas. I emailed her asking what happened because I didn't hear from her after the holiday. She explained she got really sick. I appreciated that she responded but left it at that. Shortly after she removed her profile. So this past week she emails me explaining she took a break because of family issues like an accident and illness but was hoping things were starting to turn better for her. I replied saying I hope the rough times are behind her. I figured it was pretty damn clear I wanted to meet. Its been several days and no response yet. I would have thought since she took the time to write after all this time she'd want to meet. Does she again expect me to initiate a meeting?
sid3 Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Not necessarily. Could be she was feeling a bit lonely and wanted to see if you were still interested. Maybe she does want you to invite her out, IDK. If you want to, ask her. Don't worry if she says no. Who cares. You've made it just fine these past four months without her. Besides what do you have to lose......GO UConn!
