Ha, I was the new guy and she went back to her 8 year on/off and in reality was never going to leave him totally. Too much of a bond there and now I look back, I can clearly see it (but when you have feelings it makes you blind to the truth).

 

If she's no longer with him (but he's still around) then take every day as it comes and enjoy it, but don't feel worried about asking her stuff, sharing your doubts, rather than bottling them up. If you really want her then make sure she knows that but make sure she also knows you can't be kept in limbo if she can't decide. In fact, you'll walk away and make the decision for her as it's unfair on all three of you.

 

Just try not to get too emotionally involved until you know for definite what is going on and where you stand.
