Well I layed in bed for literally 6 hours and didn't fall asleep once last night! My mind kept thinking of the ex. Now I have work in less than 2 hours and have meetings ALL day! This is not good at all!

Not good, take some warm milk and that might sooth.

Don't take any serotonin because that might make you oversleep.

I suggest taking a shower before you go to work just so you can be revitalized. Another thing, if you have rosemary mint, smell it and it can naturally awake you.

I have missed roughly 13 classes this semester (luckily my professors know I am going through a hard time and are being lenient) but I really recommend trying Melatonin. I have researched it a bunch and it seems harmless and you dont get addicted like other sleeping aids.

Thanks, I'll have to try that! I stopped taking sleepings pills last week because I was becoming addicted.. Ever since my ex left, that's been my only way to get to sleep.

melatonin doesnt make you drowsy either. I was taking ambian for a bit but I too was starting to get addicted. I just wish there was a pill to make the pain go away and forget about feelings and such.

Strongly recommend seeing you Doctor. Nothing wrong with getting Rx some drugs to help you through a tough time. I mean, if it's bad enough that it's messing with you physically, the you need to get that taken care of professionally.
