PhillyDude Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 On my Friday Night Date there were so many good signs throughout the date and I just knew we would be seeing each other again. I sent her a text last night and I was expecting a response when I woke up this morning and nothing. It's confusing because of the good signs below 1. Offered to pay for my meal-"I didn't accept" 2. Face to face with each other at the cafe and stayed until it closed 3. Lots of Laughter 4. I suggested we catch the bus together 5. Asked me when my birthday was and told me when her birthday was 6. When hugged and I kiss her on the cheek before I got of the bus 7. When the bus dropped me off in front of my door she waited for me to turn around so she could wave bye 8. I sent her a text 3 mins after the date saying I had a good time and she responded with..."me too, I had a good time" 9. She text me to let me know she was home. So since Friday Night I didn't send any texts and decided to send a teasing type of text last night so she would get it when she woke up. When I woke up I see no response to the text??? Now do you see why people look for friends with benefits? After all of those good signs I just don't know how I go on another date in 2012 if I don't get a chance to see her again. I would not have the mental energy to go on another date. 1

Additionally, maybe she didn't enjoy you playing the Game... waiting two full days to send a text, and then it's a "teasing" text instead of a "Hey I had a good time, let's do it again!" If I were her, it'd seem to me YOU were the one just angling for a friends-with-benefits. 10

Just because we offer ( we know most guys would say no ) to pay for your naive asses, don't mean we want to silly. We are girls, your feelings don't matter. Who ever cares less, wins. She won, you lost, move on, walk it off, get over it silly tee hee hee....girl power! I never understand why people even bother to post "opinions" like these. Really? Girl Power? She hasnt responded to a text yet, she really won something!

Girls these days simply have too many options. Always try to get the girl back to your place asap, without making your intentions known. Once you're both settled in, slowly escalate. As long as she stays, you still have a chance. If she gets up and leaves (and she most likely will), it's game over.

KathyM Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 She might not have even read the text yet, it might not have appeared on her phone yet for some reason, her phone might have been turned off or getting recharged. Too early to assume she has written you off. If she hasn't responded by tomorrow, then call her and try to set up a date for middle of the week or next weekend.

I think V was right, as well as whomever suggested calling. She might have expected to hear from you the following day, and when she didn't, she might have thought you were playing a game, or not interested after all.
