Yeah...okay...I gots to admit...I have GLASSES (AHHHHHH!!!!)! I still get hit on by guys every once in awhile--I gotta dancer's body (semi-lean, but not stick thin...), I'm super healthy, in college, etc., etc.... But I was wondering...do guys really care about girls w/ glasses (mine are anti-glare right now!...LOL)?? Is that whole myth true?? Or just a boat loada crap?? I plan on getting rid of mine soon w/ laser surgery or contacts and what not...but I wonder if would make any difference at all?! And of course...I'm not going all "glasses-less" for the sake of guys!! Na na na...I just can't stand these dame things anymore LOL!!! : D : D I totally appreciate YOUR responses!!! I always have noticed girls in glasses and after years of analyzing I think it comes down to the fact that I've always dreamed of meeting a girl who is really intelligent! moss23 Posted June 11, 2004 Posted June 11, 2004 I've got a friend who I've known pretty much all my life (and I've had the hots for her for about that long as well!), and she looks INCREDIBLE with glasses. They're those small rectangular'ish stylish ones. She is ridiculously intelligent and the glasses say at least that much. I've also seen her - on the odd special occassion - wear contacts and she looks *almost* as good - nothing wrong with it of course, but I'm just used to seeing her in her specs. Girls can look great in either. When the glasses suit - MAN! The effects are amazing.

Or to buy myself a decent pair of glasses with a beautiful frame. I am apparently unable to find a glass-frame that looks good on me. I think glasses which look good on you can enhance your looks and might even make you look sexier, while a frame that is not the right one for your facial features can make you look a lot uglier. You will have probably noticed it yourself on your friends who wear glasses when they get themselves a new pair with a different frame. Anyway, I'd say that the majority of guys have nothing against glasses.

Those old, rounded square kind from the 80's with the thick lenses aren't to sexy but there are a million frames out there that are! I have trouble believing you can't find a sexy or fashionable frame for your face. You just have to walk into every eye store you can find and keep going 'till you find the right ones! Like I said, I love a girl with glasses and it always catches me eye on the street or anywhere for that matter! Good luck in your search! Blue-Green

Perhaps a result of cultural stereotyping - glasses are supposedly associated with intelligence, and I'm attracted to brainy people in general. (Not just girls, and not just sexual attraction, but I AM convinced that the most important sex organ is between the ears.) I suppose it's a fetsh of sorts, but I think it's sexy to carefully remove her glasses as a signal that the low-key preliminaries are over and serious lovemaking is about to begin . . .

I'm quoting my coworkers here. Men! They are all after the same thing. I was more than happy to give it to one of them. But I don't think I'll wear my glasses too often, it's dangerous. Ok, if you DO, though, play up the 'naughty librarian' routine. Nice dark dress, string of pearls, upswept hair. They eat it up!

I can provide intelligent conversation... and classic good looks with curly light brown hair, so that when I choose to put it up, loose tendrils escape here and there (I'm SO modest, and I've had a couple glasses of wine!) I've had many comments that the office has never been so crowded since I've been around. (The office crowd is 95% male, and the are all commissioned so it's up to them to come and go as they please.) Rather flattering, I must say.
