So basically after almost 2 yrs of a great relationship the gf decided it was time for a break. Thats what she called it but what she meant was we break up. She really had no reason for it except that maybe we had become stagnant in our relationship and need to mix it up. Since this we have been constantly texting and even hanging out some. She says she wants us to hang out and enjoy each other but not date "atleast not right now".

Should I say forget that and go with the nc and see what happens or keep up this routine and pretend it doesn't bother me? I cant decide how to play this one guys any ideas?

Well thats what I am doing and it seems to be going alright but Ill admit it is hard. It seems going nc would be alot harder and might mess everything up.

You didn't give a lot of information as to why you think this break (break up) happened. What lead up to it? Was there a lot of fighting? New guy in the picture? New friends? New Job? Stress?

How old are you both?

For the record, nobody that has ever walked the face of the earth has gotten an Ex back by being their "friend" / "friendzoned" if that is your goal and objective.

we are in our mid twenties. No not really any fighting at all. We our both trying to move to a bigger city in search of better job opportunities. This is kinda stressful I guess. We are both kinda bored with our current location and jobs. No new guys or anything thats not part of the situation.
