Leigh 87 Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Grrr. I hate sweating the small stuf!! I like to mae the most of the day, and love life: I do not want to stress now, when I could get cancer tomorrow. I do not want to wait until something terrible happens, in order to fully appreciate the moment I am in! ... Yet, I still sometimes mae issues of tiny things, when I would b e way better of smiling and enjoying life AND my relationship. I have an extremely close relationship with my boyfriend. We are always together, even though we enjoy out own hobbiesL wejust prefer to be together most of the time. ... ANNOYINGLY, I sometimes get hung up over the small stuff. For instance: - He is nto the type to call girls beautiful, goreous, etc often. Before going to sleep, he would often say goodnight my gorgeous girl" or " beautiful girl". Lately, he does not say it... Because, since the " gorgeous girl" phase, we started calling each other " bubby". That name stuck and so he would then say " goodnight bubby" or etc. He would still say gorgeous some of the times but not as much.. AGH - this sucks, because I brought it up, and although we are still cool, he does HATE having to have " expectations" of what he SHOULD do..... We talk things through, and we do sort this out. Over time, I will not care what he calls me, and he will realize he just needs to be himself. I try to tell him that I only want him to be true to himself, and not say things because i want him to say them. Still: Does ANY ONE ELSE, in happy relationships, cause drama over little things your partner does or does not do, and think that it means they are not as into you? Like... when behaviour changes, but in ways that are NOT indivative of their feelings towards you, do you EVEr blow things out of proportion like I sometimes do? Yes, I am done with over reacting... it just got to me for some reason. Silly really.
