mikeyst22 Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 I am from Houston, Texas, I am 17 years old. My girlfriend lives in Augusta, Georgia, she is 23. We are deeply in love and we have been planning to meet and me go stay with her for a week. I have been raised by my grandparents since I was 2 years old. My grandparents were all happy when I got with her, now here 4 months later I wanna go see her, and have the plans set up with buying my own plane ticket, girlfriend will cover the hotel room, etc. Grandparents don't want me to go because I've never been away from home before and are ONLY thinking about the negatives, not positives. I was going to leave tomorrow, but oh no, I'm not "responsible" enough when I show it all the time. I do things without them asking and I even run to their every order. WHAT DO I DO?!
