This is exactly how to complain about it! Good work, my friend!

:D

It's usually better to give out the rope with which one may hang, than to kick the stool. Is on this forum, anyway. ;)

Glad to know I got it right this time

As a man, I am looking for sex, will cheat on all my partners, with models, but then dump those models for porn because I am afraid of commitment.

thats just you

Posted

You almost got me and then go and add this one:

6. Are looking for sex

If you'd added an "only" in there, it might have worked.

To the men

1. Not all women are golddiggers

2. Women get rejected too

3. Women are not that hard to talk to. Just walk up to one say hi. Hell shake her hand.

4. BE A MAN! Quit being some whiny baby because some woman rejected you or put you in the friend zone

can I add one more?

5. Not all women use sex as a way to wield power. We actually like it, a LOT! and it's as important to us as it is to you.

To the women here we live in the real world. In the real world not all men

1. Cheat on partners

2. Choose porn over meeting women

3. Are not afraid of commitment

4. Are looking for models

5. Want to be your surrogate boyfriend

6. Are looking for sex

Almost all men do those things, though. Many don't admit it, but I bet 99% have those thoughts. And 99% would cheat if they could get away with it. Many men would also prefer a harem instead of just one woman.

Come on you should join us in the real world. That attitude alone is why you are single. Why waste the energy on negativity?

I don't think the problem is that she is single, but rather that she perpetually is in relationships with precisely the sort of man that is likely to cheat.

On a rational level, I fully understand that statements that begin with, "All men/all women..." are usually erroneous. The fact is, there are billions of each gender on the planet. Accounting for differences like race, age, location, etc., it's impossible that they could all have the same views on relationships or ALL present the same flaws (i.e., "gold-digging" in women).

However, I fully understand how difficult it can be to reconcile rational thought with gut reactions. Seeing ALL members of any race, gender, etc. as "the same" is a defense mechanism. If two men treat you badly, your brain goes into schema mode: "These two treated me badly, and they were men. Therefore, ALL men are the same. I'm going to avoid them/attack them from now on."

And oddly enough, at the same time, the very folks feeling this way about the opposite sex still crave the opposite sex's attention. The brain is complicated, and I understand how hard it can be to shake your gut feelings and realize that everyone is different.

I do have a hard time trusting men and I do hold onto negative beliefs about them in general - but I do try to contain that.

I'd started a thread sort of similar to this one last week that was quickly KO'd as it got out of control. I came in here and realized a lot of posts were from guys that had... um... (delicately, lest I get infracted again over it) not so gentlemanly habits with women. But women deserved to know that the cross section of guys here posting that "not so gentlemanly behavior" is not a very good representation of reality. So, I do applaud you bringing this up and helping to reassure women readers that not all guys are like this.

And 99% WOULD cheat? Sorry no.

Its crazy on here the penis monologues about feminism, the porn argument, and then the little side comments from the rest of the bitter crowd. It gets crazy on here and the reality is so much different than these people skewed versions of it.

Eh no, you started that thread to put other men on here down and big yourself up. When other posters called you out on it you resorted to ad hominen because you didn't know what the hell you were talking about.

Failssumption.

If I was here looking for dates maybe... I'm obviously not.

What other POSSIBLE reason would there be for me trying to bolster my silly little noname online persona on some obscure annoymous website with a bunch of random strangers I don't know, I'll never meet, and half of which are probably lieing about which sex they are? Answer me that. I get plenty of kudos in real life. I'm here for the conversations (quite obviously) not some weird and pointless ego boost

I haven't made any assumptions. It was clear from your OP that your motivation was to put other men on here down, what your motivations were for doing that is for you to answer. You never gave a clear answer to this question other than that you assume women need to know that not all men IRL are "creeps"...... or at least you and your friends are not.

You also made reference to PUA even though this is not a PUA forum and there's not that many here. The odd one that does come along doesn't usually stick around for long. So why the reference to PUA? and why when other posters discussed PUA you hadn't a clue about the topic even though you referenced it in the OP?

No, what annoyed a lot of posters (or at least this poster) was the condescending attitude in your OP.

There are so many innaccuracies in your post, there's no need to reply.

Others are welcome to seek out that thread and decide for themselves.

Other guys didn't feel offended on any level... I wonder how that is possible?

Indeed, here's quotes from your OP:

This forum seems to draw a particular segment of individuals - first up, people that know how to use google to find "How to pickup women" websites, and etc.

[…]

Make of this what you will, I just wanted to post up, there are much more wider versions of males that I have personally seen than the type on THIS particular website.

If you choose to only keep looking in clubs and bars, you choose to keep finding this same type of guy. And nothing changes if you change nothing.

Care to point out the "inaccuracies"?

Hmmm, I dunno..... is it that any guy who doesn't agree with you is a "creep"?

So please woman up and join everyone else in the real world and stop living in your reality. Its annoying to see the attacks on men but when a man keeps it real its wrong or like in my case I got called abusive on here because I call it like I see it. Quit being a Debbie Downer its not helping your cause at all.

Been there, done it.

Unfortunately for most singles, "joining the real world" means getting into the bar/nightclub scene. Personally I'd rather stay home with my dog and write novels than go out and hang around in nightclubs with people I barely know and have nothing in common with.

Sure. I didn't bring up PUA, they did. I simply said people that know how to use google to learn "how to pick up women" because those types apparently post on here: 3 (or 1) dates for sex or I move on, "I should have Fxxxx her" etc etc. Many women read this site and probably get the impression more guys are hump and dump than not. Because the nots were not posting much. So I did.

Don't think I ever used the word "creep", did I? Others came up with that too.

But feel free to wear whatever shoes YOU CHOOSE to wear. I'm not forcing them on you.

Personally, I don't qualify for that word. Are you saying you do? That doesn't seem nice to yourself.

You seem like the type that I probably would not interact with in real life, so I will not do so here anymore in the future.

Oh dear..... guess I'll have to do without your ground-breaking insights so.
