I'm 24 and will be 25 later this year.

I've been going my own path the last few years, and I've been wanting to go back to university.

Do you think it's ever too late?

It's never too late to get an education. Go for it!

There are often people that have that will to further themselves thru education. If you got it and can get accepted...then go for it. I've yet to hear of a higher level of education refusing an applicant based on age alone.

Now when I got declined its because my age exceeded my IQ :) LOL!

It's never too late. you're still young and just starting your life.. Go for it!

I did it after 30. But consider the reality of today's economy and choose well. A college degree is not the be all and end all that it used to be. And apparently no one in business really respects on-line degrees, so don't put yourself in a hole with that. Good luck.

I echo the others. Definitely not too late. And 25 is still pretty young.

Go chase your dreams! :)

Whoever discourages you from following your dreams is likely somebody who gave up on theirs and cannot stomach the thought of another person chasing personal success when they themselves gave up on their own goals.

Go for it, broski.

Nope, my H was 23 when he went back to school after a 2-3 year break. Never too late. You can even do online classes if you have other obligations that prevent you from attending school physically.

Do you mean an online school or online degree?

I go to school online, but the school with the online program is a physical private school with regular on-campus degrees. It is accredited and been around since the 1800's. When I get my degree, it's not going to say online degree, because it's not an online school. It'll just be a regular degree I happened to obtain after taking online courses. Accreditation matters more than location.

I went back to college to get my Master's Degree, and I am currently studying for it at middle age. It's never too late. There are people who go back to college when in their 80s and 90s. It's never too late to get a better education.

While I didn't get a late start at college, it took me forever to decide what I wanted to do. Now, I'm 32 with 3 years to go, but better late than never! Not to mention that there are 40 and 50 year olds in some of my classes!

It is never to late to get an education, it is something no one can take away from you! Certifications expire but that piece of paper is yours to do whatever.
