You're not being at all unreasonable in trying to make sex safer. 3. If she feels like health concerns are moral judgments, that's her problem. "No such thing as safe sex"? riiiiight...sounds like something people say to justify silly thinking that leads to the spread of STDs. I think NightSky's point is the risk of sexual contact can be mitigated but not eliminated. Essentially, you can have safer sex, but not sex without any risk at all. Other good points made by that poster include using discretion to avoid making someone uncomfortable and the overall value of respect in civil dialogue.
