And oh yeah, I also wrote him one email which said I'd been "out" on a Saturday night til late. If he'd judged me for going out on a Saturday night, that would have been horrible!

I will never understand how someone can go meet someone face to face without hearing their voice. If i did that I could be meeting a MAN-lol

Then again I'm too analytical to meet someone who is a undercover MAN so i would not have to worry about that.

Talk atleast ONCE on the phone

There's nothing with that. But a woman going out on ONE Saturday night bothers you? Really?

There are a lot of Saturday nights in a year. A woman should be allowed to be out with friends on a few of them...

Well the girl I'm seeing tomorrow she didn't seem like she went out on friday nights so last week i sent a text saying....."i will call you around 10pm before you go out to the club"

I was joking and got a text from her at 12am saying..."TOO LATE" and she was out at the bar or some place

I was so shocked

That's what the date is for! If a guy required 4 hour-long conversations on the phone before meeting me, I wouldn't even bother. I want to get to know the guy in person, not over the phone. You demand way too much phone time from women you've never even met. I can understand having one 15-minute phone call before the date, just to make sure she's really a woman and to schedule the date, but anything beyond that is overkill. Why are you so afraid of meeting women in person? I've never known any guy to delay the face-to-face meeting as long as you.

Remember you are using the phone to see if the person is CRAZY.

The women you talk to are doing the same thing. And if a guy insists on calling me several times and talking for hours each time before we've had our first date, that means he's CRAZY. You need to hang up the phone and start going out on real live dates. Give up your rigid phone schedule and stop being so demanding and high-maintenance with strangers. Also, have a little respect for other people's time and money. People are busy, not everyone can spend hours chatting on the phone. And not everyone has unlimited minutes on their phone. Talking on the phone for 4 hours can be quite expensive.

Im more attracted to woman who are home on a saturday night reading a book or eating some popcorn and watching a movie with her hair rolled up

Then date that type of woman. Why are you pursuing women you don't even like?

You were shocked because she went out on a Friday night? What, is that too scandalous for you? Good grief, man, people go out on weekends. She's not allowed to have a social life? If you're a hermit and you want to date a fellow hermit, then do that and leave normal women alone.

She didn't come off as a person who goes out for drinks because on the phone she seed bashful and reserved. So I was surprised she was out, Most working people are in on a friday night after working all week and go out on saturday

Women used to act so paranoid when they were online so I started being more patient and didn't want to rush a face to face meeting and have them thinking I was looking for sex

I mean it's fine that she likes to party but I'm just saying I won't take her seriously. The type of woman I date are not out until 3am in the morning but that doesn't mean I still can't be cool with her. And she has a sense of humor so we may get along fine.

WTF are you talking about? "The type of woman you date" isn't out until 3 am? What do you mean by "women you date"? Like, one or two dates? Because that's exactly what this woman is right now and will likely be (one or two dates, max)... and it's not like you're dating-dating ANY woman, and it's not because of the women you're choosing, but because of YOU.

I don't see anything wrong with talking for a hour about 4 times before you meet face to face which is two weeks

1st conversation...Touch base and light convo

3rd conversation...dating history and dating preferences

4th conversation...setting up face to face meeeting

No way in HELL I'd ever be having that many phone conversations with a guy from an OLD site before meeting. EVER. 10-15 minutes in one conversation, MAX.

I've met people without hearing their voice. If they had turned out to be obviously a man then it would've been a very short date, but that hasn't happened yet (and it's not something I've ever worried about).

Anyway, enjoy your date!

Your fear of meeting a man is odd. I mean, I presume you're meeting in a public place, so you won't be abducted anyway (only an insane woman would agree to meet a strange guy in a private place). If you turn up for a date, and the woman is not the woman in the picture but instead some random man, you can always leave. I really don't imagine that'll happen.

But I'm not going to take her seriously for the reasons below

1. Very attractive and probably has TONS of options

2. Like to party on saturday night

So when a attractive girl likes to go out and party on a saturday night that is someone who only try to have sex with. Defintely not relationship material

Yes, she likes to socialize with her friends and she's very attractive! Who would want a relationship with a girl like that? :lmao::lmao:

Though I do agree with your apparent assessment that a girl with tons of options probably won't pan out for you. It's amazing she's been interested in passing your weirdo hoops so far. I hope she doesn't mention she has a masters degree!

Sounds like a lot of work to me, and why are their set topics? The set topics are the weirdest. I've emailed with a guy for awhile before meeting him (I'm not a phone person), so I can see wanting to get to know the person a bit, but the issue is you make everything ridiculously complicated and exhausting sounding. Conversation and tempo should just flow.

She didn't come off as a person who goes out for drinks because on the phone she seed bashful and reserved. So I was surprised she was out, Most working people are in on a friday night after working all week and go out on saturday

I typically have always gone out more on Fridays than Saturdays when single. Saturday is more likely to be date night. Friday is more likely to be a night to grab say HH (and continuing) drinks with friends and co-workers. This was especially true when I worked in an office.

I think you have very weird and rigid ideas about what people do sometimes.

She's testing you out on persistence. That's how they are. You have to call her, and call her again because she's playing games. You have to make the move. Don't worry though. She's acting all tough like this but after you have sex with her, chances are she'll be extremely vulnerable to you. It's only a matter of time. The clock is ticking, all you need to do is carry on with your masculine mission. Two outcomes. Get blown or get blown up.

I either drink alone or take you home. You don't want to get with the program? Then get the **** out of here, there are 1 billion other women out there that want to **** me. You are an attractive guy with a lot to offer and these women are only wasting your time.

I fear for you when reality starts to creep up on you, if it ever does. You really sound delusional.

Incorrect. Many of us like letting off steam on a Friday night especially when you work in a social environment. I sometimes stay out until 3-4 am and I work all week, play sports, etc.

Dude you're dealing with girls and dating. Everything is always your fault. And you're asking these questions on a forum that is dominated by women.

Nothing wrong with it I;m just saying my type of woman has always been someone who is in her bed at 4am in the morning not out and about.

A lot of women pick guys that are complete douchebags all the time. Is that question relevant to anything? I know more good guys that don't get dates than I can shake a stick at. The fact he gets some dates doesn't really bother me at all.

My point is, you seem to believe that the women here are treating him unfairly, but would you go out with a woman who had his attitude? If you wouldn't, then why tell him to continue with what he's doing? You're not exactly doing him a service this way, right?

So if she doesn't call tonight or tomorrow evening should I even bother going to meet her?

Brief contact by phone today to confirm Friday's date. If no answer, leave a simple message with a timeline for returning your call. As an example, 'I'd appreciate a return call by this evening'. If you don't hear from her by your timeline, move on to the next dating opportunity without negative emotions. This one didn't work out. Many others left. If she does accept/return your call, go with whatever comes of that conversation. Keep it brief, generally just to confirm time and place, or to process a negative answer (rejection).

Good luck :)

We spoke last night and I will sent her a text in about 2 hours about her scheduled date at 7pm.
