fortyninethousand322 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Why not just mail order bride rather than waiting it out until the competition is less? Money. And, they'd likely divorce me as soon as they got citizenship.
nofool4u Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I meet a lot of women nearing 30 who say this. I translate it as, they’re nearing 30, the new breed of sexy new college grads have forced them out of the attention-whoring game. Dudes aren’t checking for you and offering to pay for thing like they use and feeling your value dropping you’re now ready to settle? I actually had a woman a long time ago tell her friends in front of me, when they commented on finally not dating a "bad boy", and she said, "they were fun in their day, but I have a good one now". You could see the look on her friends' faces. They knew she just f'd up by saying that. I ended the relationship that night. Let her stay with the guys that treat her like crap. 1
xxoo Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 The real issue is that we don't trust that women will feel the same or more raw attraction to the guys they "settle down" with than they did to the guys they had "fun" with. It could be that, by looking deeper, she found an attraction to you that is far stronger than the attraction she had to the men of her younger days. Is this about sex? Do men fear women will have done wild stuff with other guys, and then not for them? 1

Maybe if you address this, it'll calm some concerns in here. Good luck. 1
oldguy Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I'm 24 (well a week away from 24). All I see now is women who want confident, sexy men who have crazy adventures (rather than quirky adventures). So, I figure I wait, those confident sexy men will fall away and my competition will be nonexistent. I suppose it's possible that I'll be waiting until 40 rather than 30, but who knows. Either that or you will work on & becoming increasingly more confident & ...well, appealing . Women who are old enough to have raised children & have grown to be confident in who they are are some of the craziest, and most fun I've ever met in general. be a scared... be very very a scared  I think I would try to keep my mind open my views wide & I think you will be very pleasantly surprised... if for no other reason than the variety in life & people. Oh, if you found your teen years awkward chances are you will look back on a good portion of your 20's and feel pretty much the same way and that's alright. Happy 24th btw Now get off the net & go out & play, that's what I'm going to do
udolipixie Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 The real issue is that we don't trust that women will feel the same or more raw attraction to the guys they "settle down" with than they did to the guys they had "fun" with. Why is it an issue? I highly doubt most men find the same or more attraction to their partners than previous partners, other women they see, fantasy women, or porn actresses masturbate to. In most relationships I've seen there's usually is someone you're more attracted to than your partner or find more attractive than your partner. Whether that someone was a person you were with or wanted to be with. This seems to be an ego thing of my partner must only find me the hottest thing ever and can't be attracted more to others. Sort of like gals who get offended that their partner checks out other gals or masturbates to porn. * * With the exception of gals who've had obviously offensive leering & porn addict partners.

If you get in a relationship with a woman, and she is sexually interested in you, and playful with you, and reaches O with you---doesn't that speak for itself? Why ruin a good thing by worrying about what she was like with someone else? 1
udolipixie Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Money. And, they'd likely divorce me as soon as they got citizenship. How do you like the idea of staying in a foreign country? Or a Girlfriend Experience every week/month or Real Doll?
ThaWholigan Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Lots of people have their fun and settle down. I tend not to be too discriminating about certain things, you have to have more of an open-mind. That's not to say I would be lax in picking a partner but at the same time, I've never been a particularly jealous person so I'm not worried about my ego ruining things for me. 2
MrNate 2.0 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 lol on the Good luck. If you get in a relationship with a woman, and she is sexually interested in you, and playful with you, and reaches O with you---doesn't that speak for itself? Why ruin a good thing by worrying about what she was like with someone else? Tell that to steve. lol. I perfectly understand where you're coming from. But it's annoying how these same threads keep popping up over and over. 2
fortyninethousand322 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 How do you like the idea of staying in a foreign country? Or a Girlfriend Experience every week/month or Real Doll? Probably not. Although it depends on the country I suppose. Not going for a prostitute, ever. Although I would consider paying someone to kiss me. or teach me how to. Real doll? If I get to 40 in the same situation I'd consider it.
ThaWholigan Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 How do you like the idea of staying in a foreign country? Or a Girlfriend Experience every week/month or Real Doll? LOL I've been persuaded by so many people to go for GFE, I always say no lol, I even made a long ass thread about it. (I thought about it though )

Come on man, surely it would be better to simply change your outlook on life?? I wouldn't even consider the thought even if I was 80 and alone....
fortyninethousand322 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 A Doll??? Come on man, surely it would be better to simply change your outlook on life?? I wouldn't even consider the thought even if I was 80 and alone.... I mean if I was 40 years old and had still hardly ever even touched a girl. Besides, what will probably happen is that the older women who are done with fun will be tired of the confident, assertive types and will throw themselves at a shy, passive, but still good guy. So the speculation is probably moot.
udolipixie Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Probably not. Although it depends on the country I suppose. Europe? Russia especially as the women there outnumber the men. Not going for a prostitute, ever. Although I would consider paying someone to kiss me. or teach me how to. Why the boundaries? Is kissing less intimate to you? No need to answer if it's too invasive. Real doll? If I get to 40 in the same situation I'd consider it. By that time they'll probably have some awesome dolls.

ThaWholigan Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 The Stepford Wife fantasy draws nearer Not quite . I think I'd explore the whole range if I were to do that loooool
fortyninethousand322 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Europe? Russia especially as the women there outnumber the men. Definitely not Russia. And most of Europe is socialist so probably wouldn't go there either. Why the boundaries? Is kissing less intimate to you? No need to answer if it's too invasive. Kissing is probably not illegal (while sexual prostitution most definitely is). Also, it's probably less likely to result in disease. And, kissing would be more about getting my first kiss out of the way so that maybe I'd be less awkward around women. By that time they'll probably have some awesome dolls. Probably.
udolipixie Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Kissing is probably not illegal (while sexual prostitution most definitely is). It's illegal depending on where you go. If you're in an area where it's illegal either way you're still paying for a prostitute and that's illegal no matter if you were paying her for kissing, stripping, or talking. Less likely to result depending on the disease, if you're unfortunate to get a bit of her blood from her mouth, or if she's had her mouth on an std infected genitalia often you're likely to get that STD she and her client(s) have. Way less likely if you go where prostitutes have health screening tests. Why not get your first time out the way as well?

Well, like I was saying, I made a thread weighing up the pros and cons of seeing an escort as a male virgin, but there were far more dissenting voices than supportive ones. I think the stigma attached to having to see an escort to lose your virginity is a strong one, and would force someone to lie about their virginity or risk being demonised just as much for having slept with an escort for your first time as you would be for being a male virgin who doesn't know how to attract women. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I'd prefer all sexual contact to remain in relationships. I'm not really saying pay a prostitute to kiss me. Maybe just a regular person. I don't know.

To me it doesn't force them. That person chooses to lie so they can get what they want aka to keep the person. They most likely lied because they knew it's highly likely to affect the person's perception of them and they didn't want that. To me the only risk is not getting that you want and the person you not liking your decision. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I'm not really seeing as the mindset most guys have is lie if you're a virgin or paid a prositute. So not really seeing the damning unless the guy is honest. Then the only damning is not getting what you want because the person doesn't like virgins or guys who paid prostitutes.

fortyninethousand322 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Have you exhausted all options reasonable to you for getting a relationship? I don't know what those options even are. I went to school for five years, supposedly the easiest place to find someone to date, nothing happened. Occasionally I'll go out to a bar or some public hang out but I'm too awkward and shy around women. Even when I see a cute girl at the store, or a cute waitress or whatever I'm still an awkward mess. It would be easier if I had true social anxiety or something. But it's specifically around women I find interesting and/or attractive. I can talk to guys or women I know are not options easily.
