LB85 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 (edited) I have shown this guy interest. He always looked when i wouldnt notice and we kept making eye contact. He once smiled so i understood he really may be interested. He seemed shy so I said hi once and he did too the next time. Another time I asked for a lighter just to get things rolling. He opened up and didn't seem shy at all. After that we got back to saying hi. He keeps looking from a distance.Other times, he avoids me and pretends to not even see me. I dont understand why im never worth pursuing? Why doesnt he make the effort! Edited March 13, 2012 by LB85
sid3 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 There's a big difference between being shy and being timid. At least IMO. Sounds like he is the latter.
JesseJames Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Maybe he smokes weed... that might keep him at a distance. Maybe he's interested in someone else at the moment. Perhaps your body type might not be quite what he's lookin' fo. It could be he's just waiting to profile you a bit more. Are you in college or something that you keep seeing him? The usual places like work or bars and such are pretty lame-o settings and that might be a factor as well.
Author LB85 Posted March 13, 2012 Author Posted March 13, 2012 Yup at uni, we usually see each other in the library. And what do I do about a timid guy? What are the intentions of a timid guy?
sid3 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Yup at uni, we usually see each other in the library. And what do I do about a timid guy? What are the intentions of a timid guy? Timid guys are pretty much scared of approaching women.Mostly from lack of experience. I've never gone after one so I can't honestly say what you should do. If I were to guess, I'd say make it easier for him to strike about a convoy, IDK. The ladies here should prove to be more helpful.
JesseJames Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Invite him the hell out of the library first before you make these accusations. He could be falling into his behavior of his high school days. These stupid settings I tell you.
