A female 6 is basically equal to a male 10. The best an average-looking guy can hope for is fat, ugly girls.

Always amusing to see when guys talk about how easy women have it it's tends to be focused on how above average and attractive women.

On a scale of 1-10 average is a 5 so a 6 is above average. So essentially if you're an above average female it's like winning the genetic lottery. Not hard to imagine as society and people generally prefer attractiveness.

As for your portrayal of the best an average guy can hope for women are less visual then men, the average couple has the woman being 5 years younger and slightly more attractive, and on average guys are more capable of dating younger/much younger so....

that's with the exception of average looking guys who lack confidence, lack social skills, aren't interesting, aren't fun to be around, and don't have a life that a person would want to be a part of and have him be a part of their life.

Both sexes are shallow and looks-focused. However, guys have a much, much wider range of looks they're attracted to.

Not according to studies and surveys.

Going by them men agree a lot more about who they find attractive and unattractive than women agree about who they find attractive and unattractive.

For girls, just don't eat like a whale (completely within your control and very easy to do) and the world is your oyster. For guys, be born with perfect genetics (completely out of your control and very rare) or go sexless and unloved.

That's a bit of a logical jump to me.

From my observations and other womens experiences/observations for women not fat doesn't seem equate the world is your oyster pretty sure age, breast size, butt, and facial features come into play.

Fairly certain there are many guys without perfect genetics who aren't sexless and unloved.

The reality is, most women will already know tons more than you about birth control before you get into a relationship with her. The idea that you are going to research methods and educate her is presumptuous.

If you care, then offer to use condoms. She may want to use something else, but at least be willing to use the birth control available to you.

Of course I'm going to use condoms. But hopefully there will be a point where they can stop being used.

As for the other BC methods, I said that we would talk about it and discuss the methods. Currently, the pill is the most commonly used method in America. But I'm actually very scared of making my livelihood dependent on whether or not she takes her pill everyday.

That's why I would like to talk to her about other BC methods so I won't become a father before I'm ready if she forgets.

I'm still waiting for a some kind of hormonal BC method for men. I'd rather not use condoms for the rest of my life and I'm not going to even think about a vasectomy until I get married and talk to my wife about whether she wants kids or not. I know there are quite a few methods out there that women can use, but I don't know anything about their side-effects.
