Hi There,

I have posted here before about my ex wanting some space, wanting to feel like she misses me, etc...

The thing is that I cannot handle it. I openly told her that I cannot just simply wait until she makes up her mind and that it is better to end things once and for all rather than her giving me false hope.

she was a bit upset, and insisted all she wanted was time and space and I couldn't give her that. I told her that if she had asked for that without breaking up then I would have given her all the time in the world.

This is very sad for me now. I am 26 and have known her since I was 17 and dated her 1 year in high school, spent time apart and just recently ended a 5 year relationship.

I still would love to end things on a good note. Anything I could say or do so that I am remembered in a positive light?

This is really painful for me to do, specially since I can tell she still wants me around...

Respect her wishes...tell her how you feel about her so that's not in question in her mind then let her go...go N.C....move on the best you can.

Let her go with good....positive memories of you...she will respect that and may change her mind in the near future?

If you are breaking up, there honestly is no need for a meeting. You don't get closure from someone "giving it to you"... You give closure to yourself. I think this meeting will just prolong your healing.

I hope after this meeting you cut off contact and start your healing process.
