My intentions weren't to just try and have sex with or date her because I didn't find her all that attractive at first. I just needed help in the class I was in and I knew she was pretty smart. After talking and studying a few times we became pretty friendly and flirty with each other, and I found myself attracted to her. She would chat me online almost daily and when we were studying she would flirt with me a lot and frequently ended up talking about sexual things with me. At one point the other night, we were studying real late together and she was touching her legs against mine under the table and came and sat next to me to work on a problem with me. She got in real close next to me and I was pretty sure she wanted me to put a move on her but I didn't. After a minute she backed away, seeming somewhat frustrated and was like, "ok I'll give you your space." At this point, I was like ok, I gotta make a move on her before I get tossed in the friend zone. As we were walking out to our cars we continued flirting on the walk over, playfully touching each other. When in the parking lot we hugged and I went in for a kiss. She kinda turned her cheek, leaned back a bit and was like, "what are you doing?" I was like, "uh I was giving you a kiss...." She goes, "oh that's weird....." I asked why and she kinda jokingly was like, "because we're professionals!" (were both in a grad program) We walked our separate ways and that was that. I was very perplexed, as I got the vibe she was dying for me to make a move on her. Apparently my gut instinct was wrong. Any one else ever been in a similar situation that can offer me some advice/insight?
rickys Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I think she is confused. She needs some more time to realize that whether she likes you more than a friend or not. The thing you can do now is to keep patience and wait for the right time.....
