I've always been straight, but last night a close girl friend and I got drunk and said some stuff we would never normally have said and we kissed.

I never heard of anyone being confused about their sexuality at my age ( almost 40! )

The relationship is so good, if it were a man I wouldn't hesitate to get involved. I just don't see myself as gay...yet there's this huge attraction.

I hope we are still able to be friends; I haven't spoken to her yet.

Can I go out with you & your friend together?

sure, send us the airfares for Hawaii!

I don't think my friend is speaking to me, she hasn't returned my calls and I'm not sure whether I should back off or go over there; we need to talk but maybe she's not ready or she's embarrassed.

It's always been my golden rule never to hit on a friend too...I feel so sad if I've wrecked our friendship.

Sounds like you both just need to have a good natured laugh about it. It will make it so much easier to get past and you should still be able to stay just as close without having it change your relationship.

I think a lot of women are "curious" unadmittedly. It doesn't change who you are and it doesn't define your sexuality.

Thanks, I hope we do get to where we laugh about it, that would be cool.

She wants to talk to me after a few days.

Sometimes I do the most out of character things when I've been drinking...no more alcohol for me for a long time.
