buzzie2 Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 If initially you have a really big crush on a guy but you never date him, and then you lose interest before ever sleeping with him, would that bruise a guys ego? A friend of mine was crazy about this one guy. She really liked him in the beginning, and did a lot of the pursuing. He had been giving her some very mixed signals and she found out he was seeing other women so she lost interest. She told me she felt he had led her on. Now he is pursuing her like crazy but she doens't want him now. They have never slept together. Does this bruise a guys ego?

Feelin Frisky Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Each person has their own feelings about the specific persons involved. The scenario you paint is hard to make any definitive statement on. As for me, if I know someone likes me and I start liking her back it can be disheartening to feel that I didn't move fast enough to catch her boat if she has shut down on me. But you mention this guy being involved with others and that kinda weirds it out for me to make any further statement. Cheerio.
gaius Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 His ego would have been inflated by having a girl that he had no interest in pay him so much attention. I doubt he lost much of that puff because she stopped pursuing. He just enjoyed it so much that he's willing to work hard in order to get it back.
