I'm proposing one for the Philly area. I'd love to meet some of the regulars that post here. I see good times abounding with good conversations over drinks.

So, OP, what activities do you propose for this meetup?

 

In my experience with other online groups, you all get together in a big room and get on your laptops so you can post to each other and to those who couldn't make it to the meetup.

I'd do it if it's local, but seems like most of the venues suggested seems to involve some sort of long distance traveling. I prefer to stick with my geographically desirable social groups that are currently in progress

Historically, none of these attempts has worked. However, should they occur the situation would create a serious liability problem for this site if something terrible should happen and we assisted in it by allowing the site to help with arrangements.
